Multiple thunderstorms - Bedford, UK (8 July 2023)

Multiple clusters of thunderstorms passed over or close to Bedford in the morning and early afternoon of the 8th of July. The trajectory of the first storm at 4:30am was on course to directly impact Bedford and seemed to be the most active as it produced CG lightning in the distance and also overhead. Two loud claps of thunder can be heard in the video which made me jump even though I didn't see any lightning. The second storm passed just to the west of Bedford, bringing a few bolts of lightning and distant rumbles as it moved away to the NW. The third and final storm was probably the weakest - I saw a couple of CGs but it quickly died on approach.

I was watching the storm in the distance at around 5am in the morning. The lightning I saw was really impressive! Great video 😊

Great videos they are some of them cloud structures dont look all that big if that makes any sence but they certainly packed a punch however keep up the great work
