He’s a very good Football Player . He compares to Baker Mayfield and Drew Brees with a better arm . This Staff found a Diamond in the rough in Brock Purdy . Spencer Rattler with some Coaching and patience could even be a better Quarterback than Brock Purdy ! We need to Improve the Offensive Line. Last season we couldn’t Run the Ball and we also struggled with Pass protection ! We have great offensive playmakers but without a good offensive line we underachieved. The 49er Offense is built around the Run Game . We have to establish an identity Offensively. We have to Win the Line of Scrimmage both Offensively and Defensively. The Talent is there ! DA and Staff has to Coach them up ! Another season without a Playoff spot is Unacceptable !

That's a big statement. I know Favre and that's an arm. In all fairness he's so hard to evaluate because SCs offense was so bad , and the play calling at SC was really bad for the first 10 games of year one it's just hard to say.

# 2 They like Haener, a guy they have invested in, enough to have not brought in Hoyer or Tannehill.
# 3 You don’t draft QBs in the 5th round with the idea they are going to be your starter.
There are 100 QBs on NFL rosters. Most of them came through the draft, and most of them will never start a game.
I hope Heaner or Rattler is the next Purdy, it will save us from another Jameis Winston debacle. But the odds are, the starter for the 2027 season isn’t on this roster.
