I just had dumb luck and figured a strategy out this way xp) So, I minding my own business, haven't saved in a while, because I was grinding job levels like you do. So I had not a good party going on. And I ran into Omega.. boy was I thinking I was screwed. Why didn't I save enough, again? Lenna was a Bard, I remember that, and I tried everything.. and look, Romeos Ballad.. made Omega into a sitting duck. I could afterwards just wail on him. I was both relieved and confused in equal measures.
@@Elyanley Romeo's Ballad Doesn't Last "Forever" Against Omega, It Only Lasts A "Shortwhile". He'll "Recover" From It VERY QUICKLY. So You Have To RE-ESTABLISH "Romeo's Ballad" EVERY ROUND With "1" Character While "Another" "Does The Damage" Against Him.

And YES The BEST WAY To TAKE OUT "Omega" Is To Use The Magic Sword "Thundaga" COMBINED With "!RapidFire" And "DualWield"(That Means He WILL Have To "Grind Up JOB CLASSES"). It's The QUICKEST And MOST EFFICIENT. "Flame Rings" Will Allow Him To "Absorb" Omega's "Atomic Ray" Attack And "Mighty Guard" Will Give Him The "Float" Status To PROTECT From Omega's "Earthquake" Attack. If You Look At "My" Highlight I TOOK OUT Omega In ONE TURN With "Reina" Alone.

Actually No. Wave Cannon(Beam Cannon) Does This: 50% DMG Of Party's MAX HP AND Inflicts "Sap" Status. Maelstrom(Which You Probably Know) Brings A Character(Or Several Characters If It "Hits") NEAR-DEATH, And Has A CHANCE Of MISS.
Use mix ability by mixing holy water and maiden kiss to omega,he will only use physical attack.then,you use blink to avoid his attack.finally,you can physically attack him until die.

some Omegas are noted to be different models (like Omega Mk3), but yeah, whoever designed Omega had some existential shenanigans going on

You should have snunk around Omega to the door after the third lose.
You need the mystic sword lightning attack. Plus mighty guard in your blue magic to effectively beat him
having at least one bard with romeos ballad can help stop the onslaught while the mystic knight does their thing

Your Thinking Of "Shinryu", Not "Omega". Omega Is IMMUNE To The "Berserk" Status.

Omega is that strong, you have to go around it, I would have used all my summons on Omega, I would most likely have died, too.
