How good is Andy and they have been fishing for 35 years each yet Andy is learning from Jamie’ and they are both as excited as if she 12 in a jr club match ... love these videos so much rich. Thank you
Jamie’s such a perfectionist I can imagine him have a top kit camera on the bristle just to see 1mm movement lol outstanding gents can’t get enough of these 🎣
Just had an idea for a great challenge in the summer lads simply because I want to see Andrew fish it a paste match with one feed bait. Come on boys get on the paste love the video's brilliant stuff. Mick Booth (Chloe's Dad)
Absolute quality video, you guys are so good. I feel I have learned so much , little changes make so much difference and so perfectly illustrated in this video, brilliant!
great to see how changing things quickly make a massive difference … only thing is actually doing for real …practice, practice and more practice brilliant video boys
Great video full of some very useful information and very nice to see how good anglers like you two do it. Hope that we will soon be able to get back match fishing and tight lines to all concerned with the making off useful info and carry on having fun 🎣🎣🎣
Great videos as always I don’t do commercial fishing but I always watch these videos quick question I might of missed it but what elastic are you using for this thanks
Is there anyway guys you could list everything you use in one of your standard rigs so I could order the exact bits online. Like what shot and line and float you use please
hi guys my local water has lots of 5oz Tench and quality golden rudd how do i avoid the tench on punch + maggot the rudd are usually 12oz + going up to 2lb shallow deep mid water always tench i can have 20 kilo of tench with the odd 3-4 lb tench and maybe 6 x12ox rudd in a 5hour session would love some feedback tyvm love your vids but im still waiting for jamies 11 min challenge lol
Not a lot you can do when fishing maggots, obviously try doubles rather than singles but generally as the swim builds the bigger fish tend to move in. So just a numbers game really.
Great use of the large lens Richard especially showing as the rig is put in the water how the bristle sinks as the different shot reach their set position on the rig :). One question I watched the rig of the month video, but what rating elastic is Jamie using and is each rig a different elastic or are they all the same for this time of year? What catapult does Jamie use as mine always seem to spread so far apart.
Green Slik on them all, and it was a prototype catty. But the Drennan Matchman (they've just changed the name to something different now) are as good as anything on the market at the moment.
I have never fished for Ide I don't think there are any in Northeast Essex. They are not indigenous fish and am not sure if I like that, surely bigger roach are a better stock.
@@pleasantville4529 absolutely love fishing for tench, I hunt out commercials with good stocks of them to decent size. But it’s always the same problem, trying to fish through the damn carp
@@masonh3424: I’m sure if you asked on a Facebook group, what tops fit my old pole, you would have kit suggestions left fight n centre. There maybe lots of poles on market but lots are made off same mandrel 👍
th-cam.com/video/p3lGxsHP7Ns/w-d-xo.html Did Andy bite Jamie's number 4? 😂 Lot's of good advices. I love yours thinking process around feeding and rigs. Great work!

Great and very informative, I tend to bump a lot due to shipping the nicer stamp of skimmers & roach back to fast, cheers guys
Masterclass fishing 🎣🎣🎣🎣 on how to judge what’s going on in your peg top class Jamie
Will be app;lying your tips tomorrow when I am out since freezup. Great explanation .
Good luck!

The accuracy is what impresses me most. The camera never needs to move.
Brilliant to watch these two, could watch them all day. Cheers Rich Quality work !
Excellent film really really enjoyed it. That's why this man is the best of the best.
Totally 💯 agree 🐐 goat sorry Andy oooosh cruies

Brilliant! Makes loads of sense when you see this is action. I’m going to try this on Monday with the weather getting better 👌🏻

Loved that! Keep up the great work guys 👍
Such a good video !
"Go on the Robbins" 😂🤣
Great piece
Very entertaining the Jamie and Andy show! Or is that the Andy and Jamie show??
That was a masterclass.

Glad you enjoyed it
Great video very informative cheers lads
6:52 is that a no 11 back shot?
That robin loves rich was it on his shoulder 😂😂😂😂😂
Absolute class !
Brilliant video learnt alot 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Blimy guys you must drive 20k a year from the Wirral to all the venues you fish
Hope they get good electic vans for you in 2030
top tips by top blokes
would you find that speed fishing is easier using a whip say 8 mtr or use of a pole in very deep water for roach?
Always enjoyable, learn a lot. Just wonder if the way of the rod, float and reel are gone, hardly ever see anyone with a rod and waggler these days?
Everything has its place. Just making sure you use the right one at the right time 👍🏻
Great videos as always I don’t do commercial fishing but I always watch these videos quick question I might of missed it but what elastic are you using for this thanks
Green Slik, check the rig video in the description for more details.
Is there anyway guys you could list everything you use in one of your standard rigs so I could order the exact bits online. Like what shot and line and float you use please
Would a 5-6 mtr whip fished "to hand" have been faster Guys ?
Im not sure but I have to ask if you fish different pond without island on middle you will fish same or rather use a wagler
It will work on open water too, just pick a range where you can feed accurately.
I'm surprised you don't loose feed and then put in with your bulk shot rig so that your hook bait and loose feed drop at the same time

Does Jamie use his short kits for this style of shallow fishing in this video or a just a standard top kit?
Standard kits for this :)
@@WinningWays thanks Rich great footage of the indications on the float top work👍🏼
No 2 ways about ti. That camera work is getting better all the time.
Why is ant your pole painted white on the top section?
Brill watch...
Hi fellas, how many pints of maggots would you get through at this time of year?
3-4 pints should be enough, better to have a few left over and freeze them for another day than run out half way when you're bagging!
@@WinningWays sound, cheers, superb videos!
I couldn’t fish with Andy sitting behind me making all that noise 😂🤣
We can all sit in silence next time... might be a boring video though!
No it’s funny for the video but I just mean if you was fishing with them
Andy is the star 🌟 of the show he cracks me up and would love go fishing with him
I would fall off my box laughing if Andy was behind me.
What fish can I look to catch at this time of year
Whatever swims. The maggies catch everything oooosh
@@scottessery100 thanks as I've just been to my local tackle shop and brought a pint of maggots at my local tackle shop

Hi ,I have only got 2 top kits ,which out off the 3 rigs you mentioned would you recommend using
Have the three rigs on winders and just take one off the top kit and swap
Buy another one and stop being so tight
Can't really answer that one, venue and weather dependent. Just have to experiment or treat yourself to an extra kit.
Thanks for the reply, got my pole second hand and because off that it is quite old so I can not get any more top kits
