Finally it's… done. It was my longest and most complicated project ever. It started 2 years ago, when i had a custom, 50x50x50 tank made for myself. I wanted to create something exciting (as always), and the idea of the Mayan temple was born.
My friend Adrián - Carver Mind - created this beautiful concrete temple for me. He also carved the stand for the tank, and composed the music for this video. He's one of the most talented people I’ve ever known. In the meantime, many things happened - moving, new studio - and I didn't find proper light for the tank. So a year passed quickly. After that I thought everything was on the right track. The Tropica sponsored this tank and sent a lot of plants, thanks for that once more!
After I started the tank, I started to struggle with the usual algae problems. I solved it, but I still didn't like the overall result, so I didn't want to show you the aquarium yet.
This video is the end result. Finally it turned out just as I imagined: mystical & captivating atmosphere.
P.S. Sorry guys, I didn't record the building process because I was suddenly inspired to build the aquarium and my camera wasn't there. The tank building wasn't complicated, so you didn't miss anything.

As a person of indigenous Mayan descent and traveled to Tikal countless times I can say you have captured the feeling of walking through the jungle and witnessing the temples left by my ancestors.

Cinescape: masterfully crafts a mayan temple on a small scale from his bare hands and causally carves a table out of some 100 year old wood..... We are not the same 😂 you are a master 🙌

I’ve traveled to the Mayan pyramids, climbed to the top of that specific pyramid [the stairs are very steep] and walked through the jungle’s several times. Your artistic inspiration made me feel like I was there again. The stand is incredibly beautiful as the tank. The entire video was absolutely professionally done. This is thee best scape I’ve seen on TH-cam so far. You literally captured the authenticity of the Mayan genius!!!

This is so beautiful. I've been struggling to build hardscape that fits to my 40cm cube aquarium, and your videos helped me a lot. I always wondered how to make a certain hight with the objects, and you gave me so good examples and inspirations. I'm glad that you got several more empty cube tanks☺️
