I find things at estate sales and auctions, charity shops, and thrift stores, and even pluck treasures from Goodwill bins and street curbs as they are headed towards the landfill.
Your purchases help fund more unique and antique treasure rescues and you give these treasures a new life in a new home.
Buying rescued treasures helps the planet! If we could all stop buying new things from the big box stores and start treasuring the beautiful things that already exist, we could lessen our personal impact on the planet. That is what YoSoBoHo is all about!

Those clear “wine sippers” reminded me of my mom. She was a gardener and a thrifter. She was thrilled when she found a pair of unusual clear flower vases for less than a dollar each. She often put a single flower in each one. When she died, my two daughters each claimed one of Grandma’s bongs! And no, they never told her.
This made me smile xx

It was crazy. Definitely something you have to experience once! I wonder if they expect some negotiating, because the prices were set so high.

I tell you my friend, the Sweet Lorain Store was a lot to take in in 40 minutes. I guess I will need to go back! He He He! - It was still fun to go explore and spend time with you! 🥰
Yeah, a bit too much! I got an idea of what was there and if I need a gift for an MCM collector I will be going back! For my house or my business, I’ll stick to the thrift stores and private sales. 😊

It was definitely pricey. I wonder if they will take offers and that’s why they set rices high. 🤔 Yeah, I was surprised by some of the prices on damaged things too.

Awesome Video!! I am with you on sticking with thrift stores, garage sales, etc. than your last stop at Sweet Lorain Store!! Way too much to look at, higher prices, along with broken pieces glued back together!! I would worry about buying anything without a real big exam on the piece to make sure there wouldn't any hidden cracks!! I would be afraid to walk around in there and not knocking something off the shelf and breaking it!!! I hope you and IRF had a Wonderful Weekend!!! They sure go by fast!!! Have a Wonderful ew Week!! I love to look and learn in the antique malls and curated shops like this, but I definitely prefer the treasure hunt of a thrift store, garage sale or rummage sale! 😊
