Nice one Chef Henry! Sometimes with my French Toast (especially if I have too much batter left for the last slices) I let the bread sit in the batter for a few minutes so the bread soaks a load up - lovely!
Steve, there’s little better than a freshly drenched French bread, all toasty, I nestled comfortably on a plate with lovingly slathered with rich butter and laced with a favorite syrup. Piping hot! Doesn’t freeze and reheat well 😟 Great right off the fire though.
,,good video my friend,,,i can`t wait to give it a try here @ home,, i will even give it a try @ the next Bushcraft Meet i attend in the spring,, thanks for sharing ,,
Mmmm!! Looks yummy!!
I know! It's the best way to make French toast! At least I think so. Hope it helps - you should try freezing a few pieces! Take care.

@@BrainStormAcres When I am feeling really lazy I pre-cut the bread into bite-sized pieces before dunking LOL
Going to try it with the cream.
