I really love Peter’s determination here. When he lost his girlfriend, he felt like he lost his purpose to fight. Saddened by the tragic loss of Gwen, Peter realizes that as Spider-Man, it’s still his responsibility to fight and protect the citizens of New York from danger like Rhino.

Why? Because they don't have a good heart, which Peter does. But truth be told, no, Peter has zero obligations whatsoever to use his powers to protect NYC. Ultimately, like I've mentioned several times already, he does it because he has a good heart.

In my country a couple of guys beated (literally) to death a kid (around the 14) and They got arrested for that. Not even four days later I find out the guards had to isolate them because the other prisoners tried to harm them for killing a kid.
The end of this movie was when my childhood ended. I loved it so much, despite what others said. Everyone loved Tobey, and said they were their Spider-Man, but Andrew? He’s my Spider-Man.

Why did they have to slam 3 villains into this movie tho. I really wanted Electro as the main villain. I mean he was throughout the whole movie but they had 2 extra villains after him. The movie with just electro as the main villain would’ve been a lot better. Rhino and Green Goblin should’ve led to Amazing Spider Man 3 and 4
The movie had so much potential, but the screenwriters crammed too many things. I honestly feel that Andrew was really good but the story didn’t really connect with iron man in the comics.
He did play him with a lot of heart, but there were issues in production. Not to mention copyright issues. His version of Spider-Man is not owned by Marvel, so they could not use him even if they wanted to for the MCU.
Well, there's a multiverse in the MCU now, with two Quicksilvers, so maybe you'll see him again.

Am I the only one who actually liked Rhino's design here? I mean, he's such a cartoonish villain that is really difficult to get him to work in a live action film without changing him drastically, so from my perspective, this design is quite clever. I'm still hoping TASP 3 comes out someday and we can see the end of this fight.
I agree. I also like the comedic chemistry Andrew Garfield and Paul Giamatti had together and I would've loved to see more of it. Out of all the villains Spider-Man faces, Rhino is the one he tends to enjoy ridiculing the most.
Yes, they switched Rhino's classic body armor to a more robotic one (even though it was also present in Bendis' ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN) and made him even more witless than he already was. But their dynamic in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 is very much like what is seen in comics, cartoons and games.
That is not happening. TASP franchise was canceled after the second movie was released and after they made a deal with the MCU.
This moment is one of the reasons I love Andrew's Spiderman.

My biggest issue with his series is that he was a really good spiderman but we didn't see spiderman alot. The repeat of uncle Ben's story took a HUGE chunk of time away for a story everyone already knows. Hence they brought in Tom Holland's spiderman debut in civil war, without needing to dig into that storyline a third time.

This ending has been one of my all time favorite superhero endings. Loved it when I first saw it, love it even more now after “No Way Home”. The bravery of the kid, the resolve of spidey, the pure hearted and slight cheesiness of the dialogue. It’s pure superhero and it moves me every time
I honestly wish the movie didn't end up with a cliffhanger with Sony teasing Sinister Six at the end credits that's one of my main issue for the movie. It's just a shameless set up of Sinister Six in Andrew's universe that's never gonna happen. I do get the ending's message, the way they construct the ending in its execution is the problem. This felt like an ending of a first act then boom cut to credits with Rhino being so wasted. He was supposed to be a cool villain but barely does anything remarkable in this movie, so wasted. It's clear that Rhino was set up to be put in the third movie but that's never gonna happen unfortunately

I hated this ending, I saw this in the trailer and it was one of the big reasons I watched it. I hyped myself up the whole movie wating for it to happen. When the screen cut to black I was pissed
And even though Andrew Garfield's run as Peter Parker/Spider-Man came to a premature end, this ending scene is still 'pretty' good. The kid dressed up as Spider-Man, standing up to the Rhino, was inspiring to say the least. Anyone can be Spider-Man.

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone KILLED their roles in these movies. It was the villains of the 2nd movie that sucked along with quite a few other overlooked situations of too many plots at once. But the camera work, the fights, and just about everything else in these movies were astounding. Very underrated.

I still remember this scene in the theaters, I must have been about 8 when I went to see this film, and I got chills from this scene alone, I think every spider-man fan at some point wished they were him, or wished they could meet him in real life, and this scene, this movie really summed him up perfectly as a character I think. He’s caring and compassionate, but also snarky and sarcastic, and I think that’s what the best versions are
At 1:32, that cop's smile always gets me. In fact, that's exactly how I reacted upon seeing Andrew's spiderman returning in no way home.

@@AmitCinematicUniverse I won’t argue that his acting has any issues but the direction for it was god awful, spiderman/Peter Parker isn’t an arrogant douchebag but you wouldn’t know that from these movies. Gwen Stacey was great in them but I couldn’t get around the fact that I actively disliked the protagonist in every scene, and the villains don’t do much to help on their side of the equation.

There is a video out there how the devs of the games explain how they took a lot of how Spidey moves in this movie and tried to replicate it; I would say they did an incredible job since many have noticed :D

Gwen, on other hand, she actively helps Garfield, and her plans are pivotal for Peter defeating Lizard and Electro.

Man, as much as these movies suffered from studio meddling with the plot, in a poor atempt to build a cinamatic universe; These movies still managed to have some of the most comic accurate Peter Parker and easily some of the best on screen Spider-Man scenes out of all that was done before and after thus far. It's a shame these movies were ruinned by Sony, causing Mark Webb as well as Andrew Garfield suffered for it. Personally Andrew's Peter/Spider is still easily my favorite on screen Spider-Man to date.

@@diegofelipecespedes8952 He did have a wee bit of a temper; which was very similar to the original Steve Ditko and Stan Lee run of the character. So I liked that aspect of him, and overall I think (other than the skateboard montage) this Peter was a pretty awkward loser for the most part, At least in the first movie he was. I think his Peter was... well not perfect, but still pretty good as a whole. If nothing else , I think we can agree... that the skateboard montage was really stupid 😄😄.
@@christopher9461 To me toby or toms portrayal of peter were more comic accurate. Tom's spiderman kept the introverted ness of peter whilst having those moments where he gets mad and tells of people (i.e tony stark).

Still to this day I want a Spider-Man 4 and Amazing Spider-Man 3. This ending scene is so epic and it’s sad to see it end like that. Man this movie was good in its way. Hopefully we get those two movies to close their chapters. At least in a way we got to see all three spidermen in no way home. Brought tears of joy seeing them especially Tobey.
