I play on censored version, Because all the bodies go clear and don't pile up, Also making it easier to see if there is special infected - normal infected [For Versus Mode]
I’m pretty sure this censored version is also where the CS weapons came from as compensation for the lack of gore, they were only available to spawn in this version without console commands before the TLS update I remember once when I was playing way back when I actually connected to an Australian server back when I played this game on the Xbox 360 You better bet I played as much as I could with those weapons while I had the chance
if you can play the R 18+ version in l4d2 you can play the uncencored version if you dont like cencored version idk but I think this is only in pc idk in XboX or console but worth checking anyways to find ways to play the uncencored or just type -iv in the launch options like the other person said

I used to play L4D2 on low gore settings because my parents didn’t want me to play a gory game and it looked exactly like this

you can also type "-lv" in starting options at uncensored version to get the same look. I also recoment it using -lv for better preforments

Well that's PC Only, you can only play the uncensored version on Console with a region free copy Of left 4 dead 2 not an Australian copy of L4D2.
I think its not difreand with global version...
If you play on PC It's all good. The Console Version never got an update to fix the Censored issue. Only on Australian Copies of L4D2 for the Xbox 360
