Here's a few tips bara! Hope this helps some of the quality of life aspects for you! (and anyone else who may see this!) 1. If you are confident your team mates have no breaches in the armor after a mission, pressing A will just repair them all for you. This gets very easy and convenient when you have more than 8 mechs in your hanger, and decide to do multiple missions without repair. 2. When you have allies other than yours, and including your own when in a mission, DO NOT TARGET THEM TO INSPECT THIER HEALTH. Enemies that are nearby seem to suddenly focus your friendly and they will die much quicker when in engagements. a lot of the AI depends on near direct line of sight when the player is not nearby. So if you do not target your team mates and other allies, they will survive longer. (please also note the opposite also effects them. If YOU are alone and have your lance defending a point with no enemies are near them, they will target anything YOU target. and ignore anything within line of sight that may spawn near them. This makes it inconvenient when they are defending a settlement. So kill your targets quickly.) 3. ALWAYS take any advanced version of tech. ECM, structure and armor, gyros, sensors, etc. They make the mechs AND pilots perform much better. You will face variants in 3050 that have vastly superior firepower and equipment than those in 3012-3035. So you have EVERY right to take advanced builds (Like the phoenix hawk) and utilize them. Both Barauders are an exception. 4. Whenever you can, travel to the high tier conflicts and search the industrials hubs surrounding them. better equipment and pilots will appear. Pay CLOSER attention to the pilots, as they will generally be high tier. Then travel back to the lower rated missions areas as you see fit. The round trip will cost a cool 1 mill, but the return is will worth it.
I did pass it up in my playthrough. It felt to me very not satisfying. I might use it later but only after I have 4 mechs that are stronger that it anyway so it doesn't feel like cheating.
The part of the game I like the most: below 300 tons! THX Bara! Really like how you enjoy this game! I don't know why but I have to say THANK YOU to the YAML Modders! I am now the Very Proud Owner of a: Marauder MAD-BARA Baradul Hero Mech! WWWHHHOOOOOOO!
I love dropping the engine size on some of the faster mechs (assassin, jenner, cicada, etc) then up armoring them and adding more weapon systems.Tough to do early game, but lots of fun once you get them established.
@@Tallinu You're right! It's my first day on the internet! ^^ Anyway, can't wait for the Harjel, Arrow IV and Black Carapace hunt to commence! Thank Bog there won't be any pesky OP Phoenix Hawks standing in the way! /s
YAML has a mod that does exactly what you are looking for regarding heatsinks for YAML mods. I use it and it is a nice little mod. It's not as much of a difficulty increase but does a level of challenge that is good.
MW5 definitely locks onto components. Anyone who has seen the large laser headshots somehow lingering the full duration to your cockpit knows about the aimbot
You should also pick up the mod "Mod Options" lets you adjust some things for YAML mods like damage, mech scale, etc.. Also in the YAML options tab on the pause menu you can disable mechs showing up in the store if you want to set in stone the only salvaging mechs play style.
Coyote's two Cicadas come with the eternal hatred of Liao. Never worth it in my opinion, even if you plan on fighting Liao. The sudden arrival of Mercs tasked with killing you is spicy right up until the point it happens when you are overstretched and lose a couple of mechs.
I don’t know if you realized it,, but during the last mission of the day.. as you exited your drop ship,, to start the mission,, and showing there,, was a finders keepers beacon beam,, all lit up to your left of the landing zone.. you totally ignored it,, and ran off to the right in a moment of macheezmo.. I’m thinking that maybe at the end of the battle,, as you returned to the drop ship’s landing zone,,and to the loot crate,,this was when,, you finally noticed, it,and was the same one,, that was available at the beginning of the mission.. but alas,, it was to little, and way to late then to collect it before the mission time ran out.😢😂❤😊
I think you should be checking transmissions. 330 added missions to get certain unique pilots and mechs. I love this method and think it is right in line with your values.
By that definition he could be using Stacked Crates mod and getting good stuff that he would actually have to fight for i.e. star league cache, and he could even lower the chances when he comes across them to make it more worth it.
If you are talking about the bellows that he had in the cryostat marked "Bara", then these are unique bellows for the famous Battletech TH-camrs. They are available only for them and you will not find them anywhere in the game, except through the add command.

@Thought Sauce I don't think so, just had there and then look at your messages and Ryana tells you about and you just click on claim. Nice free mech of you're struggling any
No sure I agree with the hair-shirt approach. The game gives you a decent mech, I'd just use it. It's hard enough having to deal with six parts of salvaging mechs. I don't know how many people are here just to see a slow grind.
Hey Baradul , i received a message to get a hold of you via tiktok or twitter , my question is was it you that sent that message or someone spoofing you
I enjoy the slow build-up of new light/medium mechs to the lance. Makes this campaign feel like a real mercenary company!
Ranking up goblin doesn’t seem like cheating. While he has a high cap, he starts with 15 skill so you have to run a ton of missions to get to the cap.
I agree! And i always seem to have bad luck with Phoenix Hawk arms getting blown off, so even that mech balances out early game for me

Love your dedication to the grind. I would not have been able to pass up using that Phoenix Hawk. Great video, per usual!

Most people spend the hours on this game like he does

Lots of YAML but not a lot of Rise of Rasalhague. Especially with the Clan invasion on the timeline you chose, Bara. 😄
I saw your other panther firing his PPC but I dont know if he was hitting anything lol.
I notice you didn't put single heatsinks in the engine compartment.

You can have more the shadowhawk, leaves more bushwhackers for me.
Woohoo Mw5
How do you get headlights to work? they never do for me
You *could" go into YAML settings and change required mech parts to build mechs. You're going Uber-hard mode! Lol
You need the mod to paint your leopard drop ship they look so good with paint.
Why clan forces using old IS leopard? They have their own, it looks different :D
You didn't use Binary lasers in your last playthrough and I think you should use one for awhile
Could you include the mods you're using in the description or I have to ask for it in a comment?
Does he not know there is a "repair all" button? 😁
Does anyone else play on epic and have trouble with mods from nexus mods? i download, follow the directions and nothing show up in my mod list
Is there a list of mods used in this somewhere?
Looking for this myself!
you should also get the buy salvage mod its a nice addition for when you are 1 pt short but also easy to abuse so becareful
I don't see it being too abusable unless you cheat the settings in mod options.
hey guys. baradul was talking about free mech. where can i find them? is there a list for this mechs?

The Wolverine at Valintina is pretty epic, I'd never gotten it before but picked it up this play through and it is very fun.
Any particular DLC needed for the free mechs?

Anyone know which mod adds the clan faction and all the clan enemies?
What mods are you running?
Do you have A mod list somewhere?
He shows it in the first episode of the series right at the start of the video
Also available on steam as a mod collection, although a few of them are only available through manual installation.

Heavy enemy lances, if youre looking for a real challenge
Is this the AI Mod working now again?
As always: Bara, install YetAnotherHeatsinkRestriction and disable weapon tiers (for harder gameplay)
nevermind, just reached the point in the video. Nice!
Use the phoenix hawk it’s not cheating if you got it in this play threw
why the fuck he never use shortburst lasers in builds? it helps with cooling and dps
the videos keep getting shorter we need longer videos
Dude you are using mods, how is the Kobold cheating?
mods make game harder and unlocked like it should be from start
