There is still two females in captivity that biologists are trying to breed from sperm colllected from the male before he died

They are not , the females are still alive but can t be reproducted beacuse the mother is too old and the daughter has a dieases , so they might be able to use sudan's preserved embrions into another spiece of rinos that are very similar to northen

They're working on ways to get new DNA sets. Estimates are a few generations at least before we get into problems with genetic diversity.
