I tried something similar as a kid in the 80s. Wasn't exactly like this and don't remember the brand but was being sold at the convenience store individually wrapped like a piece of candy. Was before age limits. Heard two of my great uncles talking about them bringing them back and reminiscing when they were kids. These were allot bigger. Closer to the size of a dip pouch. They didn't hang around long but I liked them. They were called twists.

I can get Oliver Twist products at my local tobacco shop, but they're $7.20 each.
I've had a few of their flavors some years ago just to say I did, but it's a little steep for what you get.
Great review. Look forward to the other flavors. Got ads on this video btw.

I've seen these in my tobacco store, but I had no clue what they were. Based of the tin I thought they were some kind nicotine pouch or gum like rouges or zyn. Interesting may have to try these if I can find them at a decent price. I enjoy the channel I binged your videos for like 2 hours the other night. This is really the only tobacco related channel I watch. I enjoy the other reviews too like the seeds, pop and jerky.

I've always been curious about this product line. Thank you for taking the time to review it.
Never really made sense to me personally, price vs what you get from them. A plug would be more economical or even loose leaf.
    To each their own!

When I used to get these they were about $2.50. I used them in high school in the 80’s mostly. We had a few proper tobacconists then…you had to be 16 to use tobacco.

I believe they do grow some tobacco in Denmark with those long summer days, although it seems the cool conditions and weak sun would not produce potent leaf.

I used to use these years ago when I was trying to get off dip. I got use to them after awhile. A can would last two or three days. I like them but like you said now we have zyn and stuff like that so.

Fine product for when you can’t light up, and you can’t really show someone a big fat dip/chew cheek, i.e in certain work places. Reminds me of flavored twist plugs, I guess hence the name and product. It’s like really mini twist/plug bits.

I had these in the 90's and remember liking them, but I think they were only a few bucks then. They were loose in a tin can, and made a licorice flavor that was very good. Now with the devalued currency and tobacco taxes I guess I'd rather snack on licorice and smoke a pipe or something.
