I realize Coycoy88 has already ripped this episode, but there was always a SFX in it that always bothered me. Big special kudos to Joe Holaska for cleaning up this rip and making it squeaky clean, to where I think its worth re-posting.

17:47 my favorite use of "Planet Namek Destruction" in the entirety of the show! The last 5 minutes of this episode are perfection!! Marcelo, you did ABSOLUTELY AMAZING as usual!!!!!!!
That bit with Goku running for his life as Namek melts around him had every 8, 9, 10 year old watching this frantic lol.
One of my favorite episodes of DBZ. Was just watching it agaon the other day actually
This is my favorite Goku vs Frieza episode tbh
The fighting in this episode looks fantastic
And the episode where goku his coldness is at the highest level in the whole series
Same, when Goku basically says he's bored, you know it's all over for Frieza.
If you look at the previous episode then yes this is the best Goku vs Frieza episode probably
I find it kinda ironic that despite Frieza's assertion that only one of them would be leaving alive, both Goku and Frieza himself got out of there with their lives. Granted Frieza was horribly maimed, at death's door and needing cybernetic restoration along with almost 2 years to lick his wounds and get back to his old tyrannical self, but still alive, albeit barely at first lol.
"P-Peace!? Nonsense!"
You see..
A monkey can't beat me....
A saiyan can't beat me!
You can't! You can't! YOU CAN'T!!!
Aha Aha AAAAARGHHH!!!!
5:28 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love that theme so much.
@@DevilMarioProductions epic final fight scene too, the music makes it better. An almost 20 episode battle and this episode was finally the last skirmish where they were evenly matched. This was the final battle of the final battle lol.

FRIEZA:”ONLY ONE OF US IS LEAVING ALIVE!!!”
(Goku giving zero care in the world of his predicament and fight with the tyrant as he proceeds to beat up Frieza for everything that he has done.)
Dbz fans sitting at the edge of their seats at the time hoping Goku defeats Frieza:🫢
12:05 what is the track called with these specific “Frieza sounds”?
This is from the original version of episode 70, "Frieza Approaches." I'd personally call it "Frieza Arrives at Guru's" because that's the scene. Unfortunately, since episode 70 was completely rescored for the Orange Bricks and subsequent releases, the only way to hear it officially is on the original "Captain Ginyu: Assault" VHS and DVD single.
@@Joes_Z-Music and I assume that episode is unrippable on that DVD. That’s too bad, I wonder what other music was in that episode that wasn’t re-used (or just barely re-used) in later episodes
@@hypn0298 Correct. You can get a passable mono rip of the episode, but that's about it.
The tracks that are exclusive to that episode are a slower version of "Ginyu Force Theme" with various additional sounds for when Goku powers up at the beginning, "Dende Leaves," which I don't think was ever used again, music for when Captain Ginyu points out that Goku wouldn't hurt a fly, and the full version of Frieza arriving at Guru's.
A lot of the music in 70 was reused in 71 and 75. Episode 70 is also the debut of the fan-named "Vegeta vs. Jeice" -- it was used for Frieza fighting the Namekian warriors outside of Guru's.
@@Joes_Z-Music wow you sure know a lot. Thanks dude!!
1:36 what is this track called??
Frieza traps Goku
Which of these episodes has the Cell vs Goku in the air track? Has that one been ripped yet?
Found it 98, A Final Attack. Idk if that one's been fully ripped yet
@@RobertStacker that episode's sfx can't be canceled out, unless we get another home release with better audio we're out of luck unfortunately
That track was included on the menu for the Lord Slug DVD, though only a small portion of it unfortunately. Episode 98 is the last Frieza episode where the sound effects don't cancel out on either the Blu-ray season 3 set or the 30th Anniversary set.
@@Arteaga4K Also, the episode’s vocals can’t be canceled out
15:30 heat 🔥 🔥
8:30
7:33 the scene of bulma telling fortunes with the leaves. What is this music called what is the name of that theme. So I can search it and hear it again
goku recovers (pretty sure referring to the moment he woke from his coma in the android saga), but it was never fully released unfortunately
Can you upload "Explosion of Anger" this way?
It’s unrippable either too much voices/stfx that can’t be cancelled out
@@hypn0298 But there's not that much talking in that episode?
@@saberiandream316 Some episodes have audio setup real weird where the same techniques used to cancel out voices and sfx won't work. Unfortunately, Frieza saga episodes are most prone to this problem, "Explosion of Anger" included, although a few Cell/Buu saga episodes have this issue too. Bummer too, as the Frieza saga had my favorite scores. Best we can hope for is a recreation, or a new release with better audio
@@Arteaga4K Bummer indeed.
