Sometime soon I'll be putting together another video about websites where you can go to learn things - sites like Khan Academy, Coursera, Udemy, etc. This video focused more on sites that provide specific tools or functionality I thought was useful.
That being said, what are some other learning-based sites I should include in that future video?

Studentrate.com seems great but it seems like the majority of deals is just shopping online to get cash back, which is great at first but if you buy things online you're paying extra for shipping, so you're probably losing more money. Unless they're doing a free shipping special but that happens once in a blue moon. Still great for a couple websites where I do inevitably need to make online purchases for.

I was glad to see few of the websites up there that I was already using. Google drive saved my life. If you don't have Microsoft word/ppt but don't want to pay for it. You can actually write your stuff of Google doc/slideshow and then select download as Microsoft doc/ppt or email as Microsoft doc/ppt. You can invite your friends to help you proofread your essays. I also used quizlet to search my classes and use different flash cards that people from my class already made.

I don't know if you mentioned KhanAcademy..I didn't see it. No list would be complete without them. They have subjects ranging from middle school (possibly even earlier) to college level. you could probably learn a subject only using their website. You reminded me I really need to get drop box or some other cloud type thing...I'm always forgetting to print out my homework or I leave it at home, that would help alot so I could access it at school

Hi Thomas, I have a question. I'm going to college next year and I was wondering what gadgets would be useful to buy. For instance, I thought an Ultrabook would come in handy, because they are light, slim have less power than a normal laptop, what could keep me away from gaming instead of studying. What are your thoughts on this subject?

Thank you for your precious time for students. Actually I am a PhD student and a university lecturer. Always I am sharing your videos with my students and related people which are based on purely your hard word in collecting and articulating these information to a simple words.
I have some suggestion if you accept that’s ok if not then thank you too.
    1. Give some suggestions how to articulate the idea of the paragraph which students study in newspaper or in any article to their own words.
    2. How to articulate the idea of different things like articles and other research related things to their own words.
Because which I observed in students is that they are able to understand the concept of any articles or topic but the problem they face in the transformation of these article and topic information to their own writing.
I think if you give some tips on this issue it will be very helpful for them.
I will also share with my students.
    Thank you

Nice site, about the mind map. Now in school we need a mind map so here in this site it will very easy to be made!
Also, for lynda.com who will know does his school been subscribed for this in case not all in school know pretty well English!
Written Kitten is a nice one I check it out and it was said that you can put different like dinosaurs or other type of stuff. It's a useful site, but it's like google docs, with differences that there isn't image here is it!
How about google.docs can you share something for it. I'm using it for some stuff and I find it useful, but how about you +Thomas Frank???
