Tesla just put in the price cuts on the Netherlands site. Model Ys reduced from €49,593 yesterday to €46,673 today

Tesla may do the opposite, i.e., Tesla can start building Next Generation platform models in Giga Berlin, Giga Texas, or Giga Shanghai and then move the expertise to Mexico. ..

Starting the next Gen platform in Berlin makes a lot of sense. The Mexico factory won’t be even built for another 1.1/2 years where Giga Berlin has capacity now only producing Model Y at present. While VW has just released a concept car. I think Tesla already has their concept car and are working on production configuration. Tesla will have the drop on VW and be well into marketing their entry level car before the ID1 & 2 are produced in 2026

VW have shown their entry level concept car, it’s pricing and advised availability in 2026. This looks like a perfect Osborne effect to me with buyers waiting for the cheaper new vehicle coming. Mr Oliver Blume, VW CEO, you have to sell your exisiting and a lot more expensive cars in the meantime!!!
