Hello! Thank you so much for the tutorial. It's very clear :) I have one question though. I'm trying to create a line on the top plane/face of a box. This box is not a perfect rectangle, let's say it's like an L shape. I start my line at one endpoint of the top face of this box (the snap tool is on and has grid points and vertex and edge/segment checked) and I draw the line and click on another endpoint of the top face of the box. But now instead of continuing the line to reach another endpoint, I want to take this line perpendicularly and click on the edge of the top plane parallel to where my endpoint is. Eventually I'll be creating a u-shape line on the top plane of the L-shape box (the point is i'm trying to create a wall and i wish to modify the number of the outline of this line to 20cm for example and then extrude it). Except I can't snap the line from one end to the other like it works on AutoCad with the assistant dashed line that helps you in finding the perpendicular point on the other end. I've seen a tutorial doing exactly this on 3dmax but I can't seem to figure out how to do it myself. I'm not sure if my question is clear. I'm hoping you can help me. Thank you.

You may try Autogrid in Command Panel, and then create rectangle first later delete the two edges you don't need by converting it to Editable Spline! Hope it helps!?
