Outstanding video. Credit where its due. And so simple and effective, and also very enjoyable and relaxing. My family and I went there last year, to visit my eldest boy on his birthday. We all really enjoyed it immensely, especially the Pavillian garden. Went into the museum, and just took in all its splendour. Had great fun giving the squirrels their nicknames. Of course we had to take a trip on the British Airways I 360. And not forgetting the famous pier. That was so enjoyable. So, all in all, an absolutely wonderful time and experience. I can only highly reccomend Brighton. Tanx for uploading !!! 👌

I used to travel to Brighton each year as an Organiser of the London to Brighton Annual Run for old motorbikes and always enjoyed being there. Despite making several other visits you showed me a different Brighton to the one I knew. It was great - thank you.

I watched this video because I want to live on the South Coast and have been trying to figure out which place is good. I really liked this video, it was a peaceful and interesting visit. Brighton looks really nice with its quaint alleyways and lots of shops, cafes, etc. It seems there are a lot of choices of places to go to. Coming originally from the city it's good for me to find a place like that on the coast. I also saw pictures of the marina which also looks great. Thank you, it was a very interesting video and you helped me to make up my mind. I really hope I can move there soon.
Hi Larry, really happy to have been of help. I agree that Brighton is a great city with interesting shops, cafes, etc and plenty to do in the surrounding area. We'll be putting more of Brighton here in the coming weeks and the marina too, along with some other coastal towns. I hope you I can move there soon, I'm sure you'll love it. Have you considered Leigh on sea too, it's another nice town close to London (I've added a video here of it if it's helpful to check it out). All the best to you.
Awesome video! This brings back so many memories when I studied abroad at University of Sussex... Brighton is such a comfortable place, I love everything about it. I remember when I didn't have class, I used to just walk around the city and enjoy the atmosphere, I still remember how to go to the duck house on 6:40 :) Hope someday after this pandemic is over I can visit this place again with my family. :)
Hi there SQ, yes it's a wonderfully quirky thing to have in the heart of the city. Thanks for popping by. Pleased you enjoyed the walk. There's over 100 here if you do ever feel like taking another stroll.
Brighton is a great city. You have to visit Brighton Pier, Royal Pavilion, North Laine, Kemptown. We stayed in Brighton Wave Guest House. We love it! I would recommend! Have a great time
Like many who have commented below, and likely above, I lived in Brighton as an international student and found it captivating. This video captures its vibrant spirit, but also its variability: I recognize few shops and restaurants from my mid-2000s stay. Honestly, I recognize nothing. But at least the buildings stay, if not the businesses. The same cannot be said of my current location, Los Angeles, which seems to relish destroying architecture older than a generation, no matter beauty or heritage.
How nice that you had the opportunity to live in Brighton as an international student. We're so happy that you find this video was able to capture its spirit and variability. Fascinating to hear how much has changed since you were there. I guess Los Angeles is what you might call chalk and cheese. Do hope you get to visit ol' blightly again someday. All the best to you Karl.

Hi there awesome, video, I am planning to move to Brighton, is there somebody who can tell me in overall how is this city. Crime Rate compare to Southampton? Job? schools? thank you
Hope someone can help you Daniel. We were only a day visitor, but it's always seemed very impressive to us and we've felt comfortable there. All the best with the move.
I lived in the city for 18 years. Yes the property market is above the national average (both buying and renting) and some areas of the city is close to the London market. Nevertheless if you are prepared to live a bit further out of town, you still have decent accommodation for a slightly cheaper price. The city could look much better, especially the seafront, lack of trees for instance and it is not the cleanest of town!!! But there is a vibe in Brighton, with lots of restaurants catering to all tastes, pubs, bars, clubs, 2 universities and a lot of language schools which attracts numerous students form far afield. It can be a bit edgy, some would say hipster these days! I personally never felt unsafe in town. Brighton is also famous for having one of the best gay scene culture outside London. It is in my opinion a fairly easy going, laid back city. Crime obviously is real and though there is no no go areas in town, some neighbourhoods are better then others. You have like anywhere else council estates (Moulsecoomb, Whitehawk, Hangleton in Hove,...) and affluent and mainly residential areas (Withdean, Tongdean Road, Hove Park area...) It is not a huge city but it is big enough for a city to offer everything a city has to offer! Sea, beaches, cycle lanes and country side (South Downs) are at your doorsteps. Hope it helps.
Staying for second time at Granville Hotel for second time next month and recommend especially being on seafront with good staff too. Do NOTstay at Hilton. Too expensive for what you’re getting.

"Cliff Walk" and the narrow small streets which look Like in Harry Potter is already on my list. Any other ideas? Thank you very much in advance. (REEL Steady is doing a great Job , nice Edit)
Do hope you enjoy your week of vacation in Brighton in August. I don't come from Brighton, but when I visit I find the best this to mentally is the long walk along the coast to Hove, the narrow small streets and 'the Lanes' are always lovely to wander too as you say. Going further along the coast you can also visit the Beachy head near Eastbourne. The whole coast is quite pleasant although stoney and you can also go inland to see some nice sussex villages. I'm sure you'll find lots to do.

@@LivingWalks Thank you.
Thanks for touring!
Thanks for watching
Also the music from the guitar man starting when you came out of the lanes around 8:10 was magical
Ah yes a handy soundtrack, very kind of him to provide it!
Awesome video!
This brings back so many memories when I studied abroad at University of Sussex... Brighton is such a comfortable place, I love everything about it.
I remember when I didn't have class, I used to just walk around the city and enjoy the atmosphere, I still remember how to go to the duck house on 6:40 :)
Hope someday after this pandemic is over I can visit this place again with my family. :)
Couldn't agree more, I think Brighton is one of our favourite Uk cities, as you say it has such a great vibe. Do hope you get to revisit someday.
Lovely vid. The Pavilion's a wonderful piece of work.
Hi there SQ, yes it's a wonderfully quirky thing to have in the heart of the city. Thanks for popping by. Pleased you enjoyed the walk. There's over 100 here if you do ever feel like taking another stroll.

@@LivingWalks Thank so much. Have a great day!
@@kkrtnsp1463 you too KK
Brighton is a great city. You have to visit Brighton Pier, Royal Pavilion, North Laine, Kemptown. We stayed in Brighton Wave Guest House. We love it! I would recommend! Have a great time
Quite agree Charlie and thanks for the recommendation, much appreciated.
Nice place , nice people
We thought so too Edward. All the best to you
Royal Pavilion incedibly beautiful
Thanks Gregor, yes indeed.
I love Brighton very much.

Oh! How I miss Brighton. 😥
Mee too Maggie. Hope you'll be back someday.
Nice video showing the best of Brighton. The reality looks slightly a bit different when you venture to other areas of town (I'm thinking of Western Road!)
Very true Nicojs, it's certainly a city of contrast I do agree.
Came here just because I'm playing a Brighton & Hove Albion Save in FM and was looking for some Impressions. Watched the whole Video. You got a new Sub. What an amazing Video. Great Job.

Expect it to be expensive in general, then you'll be fine
@@Dutch0794 thanks for the feedback.
You have like anywhere else council estates (Moulsecoomb, Whitehawk, Hangleton in Hove,...) and affluent and mainly residential areas (Withdean, Tongdean Road, Hove Park area...)
It is not a huge city but it is big enough for a city to offer everything a city has to offer!
Sea, beaches, cycle lanes and country side (South Downs) are at your doorsteps.
Hope it helps.
@@nicojs1182 New trees wouldn't survive the drunk students and winter weather.

i will visit the next week

Is it often very bright in Brighton?

If this where you get most sun 🌞
I'd say it's certainly one of the sunniest towns in the UK yes Don!
I wish it was that quite when I'm walking around town 😭😭
Oh, is your area very busy then Olive?
@@LivingWalks Yes so busy. It's really hard to enjoy time there without people getting in the way.... Or even worst SLOW WALKERS 😂
@@YummyyummyLiv Oh ha ha, I think I must be one of those in a new city, too busy looking up and being beguiled!
@@YummyyummyLiv And don't forget the constant tune of "spare change, spare change".
Staying for second time at Granville Hotel for second time next month and recommend especially being on seafront with good staff too. Do NOTstay at Hilton. Too expensive for what you’re getting.

So thanks to Corona i will have 1 week of vacation this year. And i decided to spend it in Brighton in August. I'm fighting Burnout so which places are the best to mental relax in Brighton?
@@LivingWalks thank you!
