Happy (in) Lent@ Carefree

We all know the phrase, “Don’t worry, be happy!” But, there is a problem. Most of us ARE worried! And we have a lot to worry about. Being carefree isn’t as easy as we make it sound. This tension holds when we read our scripture passage, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life…” This Sunday, we contemplate Jesus’ challenge to no worry and ask if we can rely on God’s provision in the face of scarcity.
