This video is utterly amazing! Your voice is quite a close match for Xingqiu, and you use it well! And was that the actual canon text for Legend of the Shattered Halberd I detected?? I never thought I needed to hear Xingqiu narrating the books in genshin, but now my eyes (and ears) have been opened to the possibilities! I also loooved the little ASMR bits sprinkled in there. Overall it was SUPREMELY relaxing, and I actually almost fell asleep before the characters did lol There was one minor thing that stuck out as odd to me, but I doubt anyone else noticed it. About 12 minutes in, I noticed that you mentioned tatami mats. I'm pretty sure tatami is culturally Japanese, so it would probably be more closely associated with Inazuma than Liyue. Of course, it's not impossible that tatami could have spread across multiple nations, I was just briefly confused by its mention. I'm probably overthinking it though tbh. Either way, this did not detract from my enjoyment of this video, and I hope you keep making them!!! It was so good!
Hi!! I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I was actually going back and forth about using the specific word as I am ethnically Chinese myself. There is a word for it called "liangxi" 凉席 but I don't think many people know it so I substituted for tatami. Though they are not exactly the same, tatami is made of straw while liangxi is made of bamboo T u T I will try to use more accurate Chinese word next time
