Xingqiu’s noticed that you’re not exactly feeling your best today. So, allow him to offer you the best way he knows how to comfort others.
I got a new mic for my birthday, so the quality should be much better than before.
I’ve been working on my Xingqiu impression a bit lately. I’ve been trying to focus more on sounding like his JP VA. I don’t know what happened when I recorded this, but it’s not exactly my best… regardless, I hope it still does him justice.
I’ve been taking voice masculinity and larynx adjusting lessons and exercises. I hope they’ll bring me some success in voice acting in the future and have an easier time voicing male characters for future audios.
Also, I’ve been getting speech therapy the past few months, so recording has been a lot easier now that I’m implementing methods my therapist has been providing me. I hope it shows… I’m very proud of my progress.

Xingqiu. Yes! I appreciate when someone can portray a character so well that it feels believable, how they really would act and feel.
That moment when Xingqiu notices the tears and momentarily gets horrified about what to do. It felt like something he would do. Underneath his sword skills, talent and noble manners are hidden many insecurities. Like his bad handwriting or dealing with strong emotions :)
