I agree with you, every taste is different. But most of your suggestions i really like🤗🧡i own Chanel Tendre EdP, its no Love as the eau Fraiche or Original EdP but for me a big like🤗very feminin👍🏻

I also used to wear and LOVE Light Blue but I think I just grew out of it. I recently tried the Light Blue Intense flanker to see if it would spark that love again but I just couldn’t. Proof that our preferences definitely change over time!
For me, I do not see the hype with Dior Hypnotic Poison at all. It smells like play-doh and root beer and a lot of men supposedly find it sexy. My husband didn’t either. Another was Kilian Love Don’t be Shy. Smelled synthetic, like Fruity Pebbles.
My husband CAN’T STAND hypnotic poison. He is repulsed by the scent. And I was like yeah I don’t like it but it’s not that bad? He just looked at me like what is wrong with you 😂.
I've experienced that with some fragrances! Half of the people finds it extrordynary and the other half very synthetic and I can't understand why! [an example is Moschino cheap and chic light clouds!] I love hypnotic poison,but it's definatelly not for everyone and not for every occasion! Perfumes have their one rules of physics,idk!
For me it’s the English Pear & Freesia by Jo Malone. Having been a perfume connoisseur all my life I never quite understood what ppl meant when they say some fragrances are headache-inducing but THAT gives me a massive one and now I got it.
I don’t care for YSL Libre, Good Girl original, Juliette has a Gun Vanilla Vibes, Gabrielle by Chanel, Replica Jazz Club and Valentino Donna Born in Roma 🤷🏽♀️
Appreciate that you always try to talk about other things that some may find like too sensitive.. but the fact that perfumes are subjective, more videos like this really help in like having and hearing the other side and thoughts on perfumes..coz we can’t just be always positive and okay with everything 🤍
YSL Black Opium. I used to enjoy spraying on the tester whenever I go to Sephora but recently I managed to get a small decant and I couldn't care less?? It smells exactly like I remembered so it couldn't have gone bad, I just wasn't impressed w it anymore. It didn't offend me, but I wouldnt be tempted to give it a second sniff.
I feel that way now too. I have a 50ml bottle but it is that gorgeous edition with the carved leaf fronds...the pleasure is in the bottle at this point. So odd, originally I loved it 😕
I loathe Flowerbomb. It's flower petals swirled around in a cotton candy machine. Far too sweet. I also don't like any of the Versace fragrances I've tried. They smell very synthetic and screechy.
The worst was YSL Libre for me, It literally made me feel sick and repulsed by it 🤢I had to scrub it off because I couldn’t stand the whiffs of it. Another one I had to scrub off was Ariana Grande Cloud. It smelled like a hospital to me so although it was kind of sweet and pleasant at first, once I got that thought in my head I couldn’t smell anything else. I washed my arms 5 times with soap and still smelled it, it lasts forever let me tell ya 😅
Funny you should mention those two. I have some sort of sensory issue with both. Libre I could smell nothing but a faint musty stagnant water smell. Cloud is the worst perfume I've ever smelled. I tested 3 different testers to make sure it wasn't just a bad batch. Cloud smells to me like the cheapest men's cologne from the Dollar Tree that went off after sitting in the backseat of a car. There's no sweetness at all. Nothing that I believe anyone could find pleasant. I know it must be a personal sensory issue because everyone likes it. Those two are the only perfumes I've had such a strange experience with.
@@anns2897 interesting 🤔 You really gave them a try, too bad it didn’t work out. When I don’t like a perfume everyone else seems to love I keep thinking I wish I could smell it through their nose lol 😂 Everyone is different and so are their perceptions I guess 🤷♀️
@@JuicyCandy25 Yes, and it really wasn't a personal taste issue like whether I like florals, green scents, gourmands, etc... I literally do not smell what others smell in those two perfumes. Maybe it the same for other perfumes too, but a less dramatic difference is less noticeable.
i blind bought versace dylan blue and i don’t like it at all, smells like hair spray or something and i don’t like the soapy dry down. smells like old hotel soap
I also don't care for it, but I don't get chemicals. To me, it smells verryyyy mature...like something my mother wore in the 80's. Mom smelled it and said it was familiar but she doesn't care for it either. I just don't get the Alien hype.
I recently returned Chanel Chance eau tendre (edt version)... it was highly recommended from different channels but it was not my cup of tea. And didn’t last long.

I think my first expensive perfume purchase was the Burberry Rhythm Florale, and it's interesting. It has a sunscreeny scent, so definitely a summer fragrance.
Honestly, i have a rule. I watch demi rawlings dislike videos, like perfume i dislike videos and buy those perfumes and its a perfect solution 😂 cause are tastes are so different

Instead of light blue I switched to I love love by moschino. Same vibe. But I love it waaayy better. Not as cutting. And really smooth on the nose if that makes sense
Yes!!! I was just gonna write the same thing. I do love citrus perfumes but light blue is a little too screechy for me. However, I love love does it right for me. So much smoother.
Light blue is a 1 out of 10 for me. However, light blue eau intense is a 10 out of 10! I HIGHLY recommend you get the intense one it is just so much better!
I agree with everything you said except Good Girl. I have Good Girl Legere and I am obsessed with it!! Such a beautiful sexy smell and it never leaves my heart. ❤
There are so many people listening to Jeremy Fragrance. I’m astounded by the influence he’s had. Good for him I suppose cause he’s making money-he has the face (companies love faces and personalities like this to help them make money) and can easily influence particularly if you have an untrained nose ,go based off just the notes or whatever he tells you. One has to actually smell these frags on their body-not on a paper or by reading notes. Do you know how many frags I would’ve missed out on by avoiding those with tuberose? 😷
1) Light Blue smells like Lysol on me 2) Goodgirl made me sick (literally) 3) I agree 100% about By the Fireplace, Perfect and Chanel Chance eau Tendre. Totally thinking of making a video like this too because I have had quite a few perfumes that everyone raves about that I did not like! Layali (Swiss Arabian) literally smelled like a farm. I had to drive to a rural hospital for a travel assignment a couple years ago and would pass by dairy farms, I swear the oud in that perfume or something smells like a dairy farm 😂
I genuinely don't understand the hype for By The Fireplace. I've tried many times with the sample I have, but all I smell is 100% smoke. ONLY smoke, even after a few hours. It's so horrible in my eyes (or nose lol).
I can't stand it on myself but love it on my partner. The intense smokiness fades and I can smell sweet, nutty, woody vanilla and just a little smoke. Very cosy.
It's so distinctive, I think it has a lot to do with personal chemistry. On my husband it smells divine 🥰 it goes from slightly burnt marshmallow, to smoke and very dry oak. Not for everyone...
I never ever get headaches but then I tried Swiss Arabian and I spent my whole day in bed bc I had the worst headache. Idk how to describe it but even my teeth hurt hahaha? The praline is way to strong and sweet on me
I agree with you for so many of these fragrances! In particular My Way, Good Girl and D & G Light Blue. Really tried to love them but ended up gifting them to friends. I was wondering if you’ve ever tried Annick Goutal’s Rose Pom Pon, only prob is that it does have raspberry in the opening and I know that’s not your fav, but it’s a wonderful Rose scent and quite different. YESSSSSSSSS! Shagaf Oud gives me a BAD headache and I LOVEEEE Oud fragrances. But they have to be done right to avoid my head hurting. I absolutely love Oud satin Mood by MFK and Jo Malone’s Velvet Rose and Oud.
I have a carded sample of My Way and actually really like it. I can see how it might be boring for some people though. I thought I had the Alien EDT but just realized it's Alien Eau Extraordinaire. I actually like it a lot but I totally get what you are saying. It's a much lighter, more citrus version of Alien. I have tried Perfect in the store and I liked it, too, though it is very similar to other MJ fragrances. I recently was able to try Chance Eau Tendre and it is super similar to Marc Jacobs Daisy to me. I think Daisy is a tiny bit greener but it's not a huge difference to me so I am not sure if it's worth owning both. I might spend my money on a different Chanel if I am going to shell out for one. I agree on Elixir. It's not my fave but I have been mixing it with Vanilla and I like them mixed a lot. By the Fireplace gave me a headache. I agree that it would be a great candle but I don't want to smell like a fireplace.
Arianna Grande cloud smells good but it always smells synthetic and gives me a headache. There’s something about Shagouf Oud that bothers me and I don’t reach for it at all. I love Good Girl but if I spray too much it makes me nauseous. Love the video.
i dont like sweet perfume. a lot of people like sweet perfume such as la vie est belle and marc jacobs decadence but i hate it. but hey, that's the beauty of it. everyone has their own taste. i love most narciso rodriguez, chloe and issey miyake perfumes
Agree, La vie est belle makes me sick. Decadence is very close to that too. They both give a headache. I hate most sweet perfumes. Also Narcisos are great!
I feel the complete opposite with shaghaf oud. Oud bouquet is headache inducing and not sweet enough. My Way is extraordinary. I'm obsessed. I prefer Julianna's Perfume's version over rouge malachite..lol I have many of the flankers of light blue but not the OG. Alien Extraordinaire is pretty I'm so glad it smells nothing like alien. Lol. MARC Jacob's perfect is such a great Perfume. It snuck up on me and blew me away. I don't own anything like it. I agree with elixir it's okay...I never reach for it. Eau Tendre and Eau de Soleil are favorites. Whew this list was.... I love you anyway... 🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘
I found this video so entertaining! I don’t like YSL Libre (too much of a strong chemical smell) or Lancôme’s La Vie Est Belle (too sickly sweet for my taste). I also don’t really like Light Blue... I’m not big on crisp citrus scents. They lack sensuality in my opinion.
I had a sample of My Way and it was alright. It felt too weird that it was fruity and warm, I don’t like some fruity warm perfumes. It smelled like fruity trident gum or something with tuberose. I think the balance isn’t something I like. I like the initial spray kind of but not the dry down. Also I cannot stand Light Blue 😓

Light blue gags me! I never understood the hype. I feel like so many men love this scent. Honestly there’s very few perfumes that I like. Most give me headaches. One that I do love is Armani Si (original). I actually do like by the fireplace too but I agree with what you said.

A couple of my NO’s made the list and a couple of my loves made the list! I love Oud bouquet but I can see how it can be cloying and definitely not offended it’s on your NO list! ✨
I love oud bouquet too!! I have the 2014 and prior version and it’s totally a BEAST mode fragrance. I do find it really strong and have to be in a kind of mood to pull it off (or very lightly apply and/or be in open spaces lol)
I guess you and Demi Rawling don't have the same tastes in terms of fragrances. She is more into sweet fragrances like vanilla based scents while it seems that you prefer dark scents and you're not really into citrusy fresh and clean scents according to this list.
I actually LOVE my sweet vanilla fragrances, most of my fragrances do follow the vanilla lines. It's more about specific fragrances. Not every sweet fragrance works for me, sometimes it's just a certain note that I don't enjoy. I find with Demi her and my preferences are sometimes similar, sometimes not; I haven't seen alot of her videos in the last few months so I'm not sure!
Light blue is my gym and layering perfume. I cannot do it alone. Plus it used to be my sister’s signature. Alien Extraordinaire does not live up to its name.
I’m so glad you included Eau Tendre, I hate this fragrance, even the mere smell of it on my hand I scrub it off, it smells so dated. I do not like Good girl or any of the Versace fragrances. 👍👍video.
I got your shaghaf Oud lol - I learned to like it since then. It becomes smooth after an hour or 2 and since I like very potent fragrance. I don't mind it at all. Same for Oud Bouquet. I also used to hate D&G light blue but I decided to purchase it as it reminds me of an old colleague ( we were very closed) and I learned to love it. I leave it in my fridge though and It's so refreshing. However, I found the "Eau Intense" sweeter and more rounded. Performance is way better too. So if you are thinking of getting it again why not try the most recent version. You might like it better... And one thing we have in common is our love for Chanel Chance EDP and EDT - I don't care for the rest. I received the Eau Vive as a gift - I use it from time to time but I won't purchase it when it's done ;-)
I feel the same way about citrus frags. They are better with patch or oak moss. You may like Chanel Cristalle which is very elegant. I prefer the EDP as it is rounder and less sharp than the EDT. You may also like Eau de Rochas which is a rough, mineralic, summer chypre. Beautiful in the women's version.
I wasn’t a fan of rouge malachite either, too heavy and mature, also noticed that it has tuberose in the top, heart AND base notes - that’s super intense and probably why I’m not a huge fan. From the description alone I know I won’t like Shaghaf Oud so I’ll stay well clear of it 😆 I wanted to do this kind of video but was a bit too scared to 🙈 but I’ve now seen yours and Soki London’s, so might pluck up the courage! Lovely video as always 💕
Yes I saw Soki posted one called “don’t buy these”; I’m pretty conservative with my title choice haha I don’t think I know what to tell people to buy or not to, perfume is so subjective. I just thought I’d share which ones I didn’t like that others seemed to. But I think people should buy whatever perfumes they want!!:)

You speak my language! Although I do love Light Blue and By the Fireplace, I too dislike all the others you don't like. I actually live in fear of blind buying anything (although I do anyway) in case it smells anything like Carolina Herrera. And I cannot, for the life of me, understand Rouge Malachite or Oud Bouquet. Scent sisters from Canada! (Except I like Delina (not exclusif) and I strongly dislike Bois Doré, so we're different there.)I always enjoy your videos. I live in Dryden, Northwestern Ontario (population 8000), so I get it when you say no one around you wears scent. I've never actually MET (in real life) another human being who has HEARD OF, never mind WEARS MFK or PDM. We have a Shopper's (the nearest Sephoras are four hours away in either direction, one in Winnipeg and one in Thunder Bay), so I blind buy a lot (*shudders at the thought of CHGG) Anyway...sorry for the novel. I personally feel that tuberose and ylang ylang are revolting scents.. I’ve learned to steer clear of any perfumes containing those notes. (Everyone has their own preferences, fragrances react differently to their body chemistry)
Light Blue opened up beautifully but dried down to a very synthetic note. I used By the Fireplace for a car spray because the wood note was too prominent. Good Girl was just very average.

Fragrance I physically cannot stand but are so popular: Crystal Noir (Versace) and Olympea (Paco Rabanne) 😭. They both have a ginger note, so I assume this is what makes me nauseous..
I don’t like any of the Chanel Chances (including Eau Tendre) but I’m gonna keep smelling them until I figure out why. And I also don’t like flowerbomb. Might be one of those that I need to spray on my skin? 🤔

I agree with you so much regarding these fragrances! Chanel Chance eau tendre in particular was such a big disappointment to me. I purchased a decant of it back in the day and on my skin it smelled exactly like Jimmy Choo EDT which I despise. Forever grateful I did not blind buy the full bottle. Thank you for the video!
Also not a huge fan of My way, Light blue and Carolina Herrera. I thought exactly like you about By the fireplace and then this one grew on me this Fall and I enjoyed wearing it on my scarf or my sweater 😉 Otherwise I love Rouge Malachite and Oud bouquet. 🥰

D&G light blue is definitely a no from me, all I could smell from it was lemon and I don’t like that. But i was shocked when i heard her mention GIVENCHY irresistible, I really loved that sent, I’m willing to buy it, it has pear in it, which i liked and it smelled very feminine.
I feel the same about rouge Malachite, I really want to love it and love most of the notes.. but dang that sage is strong. I can't get past it. Also agree with by the fire place, smells so calming but not like my person. I do love light blue, but it doesn't last at all so I used it up like a body mist mostly. This was fun 😊
I didn't love love don't be shy. I was just completely underwhelmed and just feel, for me, that's it's was a bit boring. My Way gave me an instant headache. I LOVE eau de soleil Blanc. It's my signature scent in the summer, but not worth the full price.
Can’t stand Delina-the floral overload (gasp) and Baccarat 540-what is this-cotton candy? By the fireplace-love it but sprayed on bed sheets, not my body. Rouge Malachite-another floral bomb and way too heady. Scandal-never smelled and have zero desire to.

Oh wow I thought I was the only one disliking all these popular fragrances...I’m glad u shared ur thoughts However, I luv Chance eau tender esp in summer, as it smells fresh & pleasant to those around me, although it’s performance isn’t commendable.
I have been contemplating oud bouquet forever but the few fragheads I’ve met on Instagram all tell me they never reach out for it and it’s not a very wearable scent.. and for some reason everytime I get the opportunity to purchase it, the buy falls through something happens... hahaha I guess it’s a sign maybe. Thinking of getting Mauboussin Elixir Pour Elle which has been said to be a wearable oud with LVEB Vibes.. hopefully I’ll like it.

I tried the alien one the EDT and i still have the scent on my wrist and my sweater sleeve and i just don’t like it, i have seen you talking about it so much that i had to try it cus i feel you have the same taste as me but naww i still smell it on my wrist now and smells like plastic grape 🍇 bubble gum type of scent that is the best way i can discribe it lol i do agree with you on fire by the place, i only got the small size and wore it on a cold day, i kinda didn’t like it but wanted to try it cus all the hype about it. But anyways i think the resident doctor at my doctor’s office did like it because he was following me everywhere sniffing me 😂😂😂

Since you like chypre fragrances try mfk feminine pluriel, I dont pick up any oakmoss.

Appreciate that you always try to talk about other things that some may find like too sensitive.. but the fact that perfumes are subjective, more videos like this really help in like having and hearing the other side and thoughts on perfumes..coz we can’t just be always positive and okay with everything 🤍
YSL Black Opium. I used to enjoy spraying on the tester whenever I go to Sephora but recently I managed to get a small decant and I couldn't care less?? It smells exactly like I remembered so it couldn't have gone bad, I just wasn't impressed w it anymore. It didn't offend me, but I wouldnt be tempted to give it a second sniff.
I feel that way now too. I have a 50ml bottle but it is that gorgeous edition with the carved leaf fronds...the pleasure is in the bottle at this point. So odd, originally I loved it 😕
I loathe Flowerbomb. It's flower petals swirled around in a cotton candy machine. Far too sweet. I also don't like any of the Versace fragrances I've tried. They smell very synthetic and screechy.
The worst was YSL Libre for me, It literally made me feel sick and repulsed by it 🤢I had to scrub it off because I couldn’t stand the whiffs of it. Another one I had to scrub off was Ariana Grande Cloud. It smelled like a hospital to me so although it was kind of sweet and pleasant at first, once I got that thought in my head I couldn’t smell anything else. I washed my arms 5 times with soap and still smelled it, it lasts forever let me tell ya 😅
Funny you should mention those two. I have some sort of sensory issue with both. Libre I could smell nothing but a faint musty stagnant water smell. Cloud is the worst perfume I've ever smelled. I tested 3 different testers to make sure it wasn't just a bad batch. Cloud smells to me like the cheapest men's cologne from the Dollar Tree that went off after sitting in the backseat of a car. There's no sweetness at all. Nothing that I believe anyone could find pleasant. I know it must be a personal sensory issue because everyone likes it. Those two are the only perfumes I've had such a strange experience with.

@@JuicyCandy25 Yes, and it really wasn't a personal taste issue like whether I like florals, green scents, gourmands, etc... I literally do not smell what others smell in those two perfumes. Maybe it the same for other perfumes too, but a less dramatic difference is less noticeable.

I recently returned Chanel Chance eau tendre (edt version)... it was highly recommended from different channels but it was not my cup of tea. And didn’t last long.

I think my first expensive perfume purchase was the Burberry Rhythm Florale, and it's interesting. It has a sunscreeny scent, so definitely a summer fragrance.

Instead of light blue I switched to I love love by moschino. Same vibe. But I love it waaayy better. Not as cutting. And really smooth on the nose if that makes sense

There are so many people listening to Jeremy Fragrance. I’m astounded by the influence he’s had. Good for him I suppose cause he’s making money-he has the face (companies love faces and personalities like this to help them make money) and can easily influence particularly if you have an untrained nose ,go based off just the notes or whatever he tells you. One has to actually smell these frags on their body-not on a paper or by reading notes. Do you know how many frags I would’ve missed out on by avoiding those with tuberose? 😷

Totally thinking of making a video like this too because I have had quite a few perfumes that everyone raves about that I did not like! Layali (Swiss Arabian) literally smelled like a farm. I had to drive to a rural hospital for a travel assignment a couple years ago and would pass by dairy farms, I swear the oud in that perfume or something smells like a dairy farm 😂
I genuinely don't understand the hype for By The Fireplace. I've tried many times with the sample I have, but all I smell is 100% smoke. ONLY smoke, even after a few hours. It's so horrible in my eyes (or nose lol).

I can't stand it on myself but love it on my partner. The intense smokiness fades and I can smell sweet, nutty, woody vanilla and just a little smoke. Very cosy.
It's so distinctive, I think it has a lot to do with personal chemistry. On my husband it smells divine 🥰 it goes from slightly burnt marshmallow, to smoke and very dry oak. Not for everyone...

I agree with you for so many of these fragrances! In particular My Way, Good Girl and D & G Light Blue. Really tried to love them but ended up gifting them to friends. I was wondering if you’ve ever tried Annick Goutal’s Rose Pom Pon, only prob is that it does have raspberry in the opening and I know that’s not your fav, but it’s a wonderful Rose scent and quite different. YESSSSSSSSS! Shagaf Oud gives me a BAD headache and I LOVEEEE Oud fragrances. But they have to be done right to avoid my head hurting. I absolutely love Oud satin Mood by MFK and Jo Malone’s Velvet Rose and Oud.
The dry down is good but I can’t wait for that for “by the fire place”
I have a carded sample of My Way and actually really like it. I can see how it might be boring for some people though. I thought I had the Alien EDT but just realized it's Alien Eau Extraordinaire. I actually like it a lot but I totally get what you are saying. It's a much lighter, more citrus version of Alien. I have tried Perfect in the store and I liked it, too, though it is very similar to other MJ fragrances. I recently was able to try Chance Eau Tendre and it is super similar to Marc Jacobs Daisy to me. I think Daisy is a tiny bit greener but it's not a huge difference to me so I am not sure if it's worth owning both. I might spend my money on a different Chanel if I am going to shell out for one. I agree on Elixir. It's not my fave but I have been mixing it with Vanilla and I like them mixed a lot. By the Fireplace gave me a headache. I agree that it would be a great candle but I don't want to smell like a fireplace.
Arianna Grande cloud smells good but it always smells synthetic and gives me a headache. There’s something about Shagouf Oud that bothers me and I don’t reach for it at all. I love Good Girl but if I spray too much it makes me nauseous. Love the video.

i dont like sweet perfume. a lot of people like sweet perfume such as la vie est belle and marc jacobs decadence but i hate it. but hey, that's the beauty of it. everyone has their own taste. i love most narciso rodriguez, chloe and issey miyake perfumes
Agree, La vie est belle makes me sick. Decadence is very close to that too. They both give a headache. I hate most sweet perfumes. Also Narcisos are great!

I feel the complete opposite with shaghaf oud. Oud bouquet is headache inducing and not sweet enough. My Way is extraordinary. I'm obsessed. I prefer Julianna's Perfume's version over rouge malachite..lol I have many of the flankers of light blue but not the OG. Alien Extraordinaire is pretty I'm so glad it smells nothing like alien. Lol. MARC Jacob's perfect is such a great Perfume. It snuck up on me and blew me away. I don't own anything like it. I agree with elixir it's okay...I never reach for it. Eau Tendre and Eau de Soleil are favorites. Whew this list was.... I love you anyway... 🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘
I found this video so entertaining! I don’t like YSL Libre (too much of a strong chemical smell) or Lancôme’s La Vie Est Belle (too sickly sweet for my taste). I also don’t really like Light Blue... I’m not big on crisp citrus scents. They lack sensuality in my opinion.

I had a sample of My Way and it was alright. It felt too weird that it was fruity and warm, I don’t like some fruity warm perfumes. It smelled like fruity trident gum or something with tuberose. I think the balance isn’t something I like. I like the initial spray kind of but not the dry down. Also I cannot stand Light Blue 😓
Demi Rawling and Jeremy sticks to generics and some times sponsored. So I actually avoid their suggestions 80%. I totally agree with ur list.

I love oud bouquet too!! I have the 2014 and prior version and it’s totally a BEAST mode fragrance. I do find it really strong and have to be in a kind of mood to pull it off (or very lightly apply and/or be in open spaces lol)

I guess you and Demi Rawling don't have the same tastes in terms of fragrances. She is more into sweet fragrances like vanilla based scents while it seems that you prefer dark scents and you're not really into citrusy fresh and clean scents according to this list.
I actually LOVE my sweet vanilla fragrances, most of my fragrances do follow the vanilla lines. It's more about specific fragrances. Not every sweet fragrance works for me, sometimes it's just a certain note that I don't enjoy. I find with Demi her and my preferences are sometimes similar, sometimes not; I haven't seen alot of her videos in the last few months so I'm not sure!
I used to wear D&G many years ago but now I can‘t stand it anymore. To me it has kind of a smell of sweat, don‘t know if it‘s the apple 😅
Light blue is my gym and layering perfume. I cannot do it alone. Plus it used to be my sister’s signature. Alien Extraordinaire does not live up to its name.

I am obsessed with shaghaf oud! Oud perfumes from middle eastern countries are always more pungent than western ouds.

I used to wear Light Blue many years ago and it gives me a headache and makes me nauseous plus turns rancid on me
I got your shaghaf Oud lol - I learned to like it since then. It becomes smooth after an hour or 2 and since I like very potent fragrance. I don't mind it at all. Same for Oud Bouquet. I also used to hate D&G light blue but I decided to purchase it as it reminds me of an old colleague ( we were very closed) and I learned to love it. I leave it in my fridge though and It's so refreshing. However, I found the "Eau Intense" sweeter and more rounded. Performance is way better too. So if you are thinking of getting it again why not try the most recent version. You might like it better...
And one thing we have in common is our love for Chanel Chance EDP and EDT - I don't care for the rest. I received the Eau Vive as a gift - I use it from time to time but I won't purchase it when it's done ;-)
I feel the same way about citrus frags. They are better with patch or oak moss. You may like Chanel Cristalle which is very elegant. I prefer the EDP as it is rounder and less sharp than the EDT. You may also like Eau de Rochas which is a rough, mineralic, summer chypre. Beautiful in the women's version.

I wasn’t a fan of rouge malachite either, too heavy and mature, also noticed that it has tuberose in the top, heart AND base notes - that’s super intense and probably why I’m not a huge fan. From the description alone I know I won’t like Shaghaf Oud so I’ll stay well clear of it 😆 I wanted to do this kind of video but was a bit too scared to 🙈 but I’ve now seen yours and Soki London’s, so might pluck up the courage! Lovely video as always 💕
Yes I saw Soki posted one called “don’t buy these”; I’m pretty conservative with my title choice haha I don’t think I know what to tell people to buy or not to, perfume is so subjective. I just thought I’d share which ones I didn’t like that others seemed to. But I think people should buy whatever perfumes they want!!:)

I live in Dryden, Northwestern Ontario (population 8000), so I get it when you say no one around you wears scent. I personally feel that tuberose and ylang ylang are revolting scents.. I’ve learned to steer clear of any perfumes containing those notes.

Light Blue opened up beautifully but dried down to a very synthetic note. I used By the Fireplace for a car spray because the wood note was too prominent. Good Girl was just very average.
The sage in Tom Ford Fabulous is heavy too. I probably would have liked it otherwise, but the sage and lavender together is very strong aromatically.

I purchased a decant of it back in the day and on my skin it smelled exactly like Jimmy Choo EDT which I despise. Forever grateful I did not blind buy the full bottle. Thank you for the video!

D&G light blue is definitely a no from me, all I could smell from it was lemon and I don’t like that. But i was shocked when i heard her mention GIVENCHY irresistible, I really loved that sent, I’m willing to buy it, it has pear in it, which i liked and it smelled very feminine.
I feel the same about rouge Malachite, I really want to love it and love most of the notes.. but dang that sage is strong. I can't get past it. Also agree with by the fire place, smells so calming but not like my person. I do love light blue, but it doesn't last at all so I used it up like a body mist mostly. This was fun 😊
I used to love Chanel chance eau tendre about 2 years ago and I have to agree. Now it’s so lackluster to me and I’m 19 now haha
I didn't love love don't be shy. I was just completely underwhelmed and just feel, for me, that's it's was a bit boring. My Way gave me an instant headache. I LOVE eau de soleil Blanc. It's my signature scent in the summer, but not worth the full price.

Can’t stand Delina-the floral overload (gasp) and Baccarat 540-what is this-cotton candy? By the fireplace-love it but sprayed on bed sheets, not my body. Rouge Malachite-another floral bomb and way too heady. Scandal-never smelled and have zero desire to.
I agree wit you on a lot of these. Especially by the fireplace. It smells great just not on me. In my experience I smell the chestnut way too much on my skin.
It’s fun and pretty easy to rave about scents we like, but I really like hearing the opposing opinions too. It keeps me from blind buying too much! 😆

I have been contemplating oud bouquet forever but the few fragheads I’ve met on Instagram all tell me they never reach out for it and it’s not a very wearable scent.. and for some reason everytime I get the opportunity to purchase it, the buy falls through something happens... hahaha I guess it’s a sign maybe. Thinking of getting Mauboussin Elixir Pour Elle which has been said to be a wearable oud with LVEB Vibes.. hopefully I’ll like it.
I agree! I have Our Bouquet and I find it stunning but I've only worn it a handful of times, and not really sure how I'm going to use up 100ml.

I tried the alien one the EDT and i still have the scent on my wrist and my sweater sleeve and i just don’t like it, i have seen you talking about it so much that i had to try it cus i feel you have the same taste as me but naww i still smell it on my wrist now and smells like plastic grape 🍇 bubble gum type of scent that is the best way i can discribe it lol i do agree with you on fire by the place, i only got the small size and wore it on a cold day, i kinda didn’t like it but wanted to try it cus all the hype about it. But anyways i think the resident doctor at my doctor’s office did like it because he was following me everywhere sniffing me 😂😂😂

@@thesimplechiclife I enjoy white florals, so I was very underwhelmed by both of them. I thought Jasmin Rouge would be an oily sexy dark jasmine reminiscent of Alien, but I find it citrusy & faint. Jasmin Marzipan smells like fresh cut grass to me. Falls very flat.
