Bar One - Milford, NH

The town of Milford New Hampshire has never really been known as a culinary hotbed. So when a place named Bar One opened about a year ago, the idea was for it to be just another local watering hole. But once chef Kimmy Lavoie started working her magic back in the kitchen, that plan changed.

Jesus, I know that dreads aren't a solely "Black thing", as White Roman soldiers in Ancient Rome had dreads long before African slaves ever arrived in what would eventually become Jamaica, but a (presumably fully) White European-descended person with that hairstyle just seems sooooo wrong & culturally insensitive....
