This is our favourite place to stay for regular returns to Crete ..... We always leave a large part of our hearts there, to be cared for by the many friends we have made there over the years. When we arrive, we always feel that we've arrived at our second home! :)
What a lovely place Makry Gialos ! I like so much this so beautiful and calm beach Limanaki beach ! It reminded me of my holidays in September when we were in Sitia where we went to Makry Gialos at the Mélydron café to enjoy this beautiful calm beach whose water is shallow, reassuring and relaxing ! Thank you very much Samir for your video and especially at the end thanks to your video from the drone to see the whole place in height another beautiful view !💞💖💞😍😘
You only showed a part of the village by the harbour - there are shops, bars, tavernas all along the beach, then up the hill over the next headland there are a couple of big hotels. There are many more beaches to explore too.
You'll need to go to Crete many times if you want to REALLY get to know the island and its wonderful people! We've been there over 30 times and can still find places that we haven't been to before, even within a fairly short distance from where we base ourselves. Hiring a car is a DEFINITE advantage to be able to do this!
Makrygialos is another beautiful place in the south of Crete, close to Ierapetra. There are hotels and guesthouses and private accommodation, lots of taverns and shops and beautiful sea :) Kalamokania is the first beach at the beginning of the movie. There I was in a small hotel. The second Makrygialos beach with the port, where the ship leaves for the island of Koufonisi. I recommend. Regards, Zameer Pactyan :)🙂
I can't believe you started that in the Roman Villa! It looks much neater than when I've been. Looks like they might be digging in front also, wonder if Archaeology or more apartments? Mak G is my second home and I love the place. Hope to be back very soon. Thanks for sharing this Zameer!
