This game was an interesting mid-point for the Budokai franchise. It had the graphical styling of Budokai 3, while still playing like Budokai 1. The board game campaign was tedious, but entertaining, what with all the different matchup scenarios you could explore.
I definitely understand, but at the same time, Budokai 3 was just better, without this aggravating story mode. Gosh I enjoyed this game, but unlocking everything was a hassle
I remember when I was a kid I didnt know I was supposed to get transformations so I ended up fighting super buu with ssj1 gohan instead of mystic gohan lol it was a battle forreal
Buu displaying physical characteristic of the strongest person he absorb he should have kept the same look of "cell absorbed" when he absorbed Frieza, lol.
This just reminds me of my Thanksgiving vacation back in the day as a kid, literally playing day and night constantly to use the free time I didn't have because of school
Funny because Buuhan and Buutenks were pretty much retreads of Perfect Cell, imo. I wonder how strong Super Buu would be with just Super Perfect Cell from the Cell games absorbed.

@@theultimateawesome5516 I don’t think he’d be weaker tbh. Gohan was roughly a high end SSJ3 and Buss was solidly in that SSJ3 tier I think adding an ssj2 tier on top would give him a fighting chance.
I remember when I played this years ago I got a different ending with Buutenks in the time chamber instead of Buutenks teleporting away like that, Buutenks opens up a giant hole (Like in the anime) to escape. Anybody remember that and got that special interaction? Edit: I think I might remember how the special condition to get that alternate escape if anyone is curious and wants to try getting it.
I remember playing the first Budokai 1, and beating the tournament to unlock Great Saiyaman as the secret character cause the game only went up to the cell arc. Shit was sooooo live.
Vegito is so ridiculously powerful and buuhan is so much stronger than everyone else it probably wouldn’t make a difference. Buu’s absorption only seems to add their power, where as potara fusion is possibly a multiplier, which would make vegito a level on his own.
Yeah by the time you get to that point, this dude is op just trying to get over to where Vegeta was was a pain in the ass the only thing more hellish than Buuhan was Kid Buu lol

I bought the collection and was pissed it wasnt in there still enjoyed the budokai 3 tho.
