Jamie's wife was pregnant with their first child when they started filming 50 Shades. Jamie has stayed married and had two more daughters. There is no indication that he is not happy with his wife and family. They live outside of London so he's not near Dakota. The whole point to this love triangle between jamie Amelia and dakota is that jamie loves both ladies and he has to make the right decision for all concerned and think of is children it will effect them.
