hey mate, just got one on an X-T3... But the stab is doing a weird thing. It's moving even when it's on a tripod... And of course, doing a lot of microjitter handheld. Do you experience those stuff ?
@@clintwood1983 I did. For this particular event I put stab. It was because of the mouvement of the ground (bass in a music concert) so there was a lot of mouvement, micro shaking. And, when I added the 100-400, the stab was working perfectly @300mm. So the stab of 18-135 is bad or just not made for videography. And of course on a tripod usually I lock the stab :)
@@clintwood1983 that was basicly my first question... Is it me or the stab is just bad ! You answered, thank you ! May be it's my product which have a problem. And I tested it in photo, it seems that it works well. Not in video 😅 i think I'll get the 18-120mm next year anyway ! 👌
@@CptCurk didn't realise there was an 18-120 coming. I'm moving from Nikon to Fuji and was looking at the 18-135mm for landscape. How did you find the image quality for stills? I'll mostly only be at f8.
Nice!! I’m from VA too. Nova. Really thinking about getting this lens. I also love your colors in your video. Can I ask what settings you used on your camera? & Is that all f-log footage? Thanks!
no sir, but that's why the great Buddha invented the adapter. 🤣 Shooting Nikon atm and have been trying to get street shots around the city as best as possible. Going to get this lens for sure. Maybe I'll see you around after all this madness has ended. Peace.@@paulAntill
@@paulAntill Hi. I've just bought that fujinon. It's amazing how many scens I can take on this lens. Maybe is not sharpest and fastest but here is nothing to complain about the quality. Btw, what music record did You used at the beginning of Your review 0:30- 1:10?
autofocus may lag because of f/16 (at least I faced similar issue with other camera and lens, and opening aperture a bit helped really well)
Great Video, BUT! What are those slamming artifacts in your Musik/ EFX?
I thought the first shot was of the train station in Richmond! I love the footage man thanks for helping pick my desert island lens
You’re most welcome! Are you local to Richmond?

Turn image stabilisation off when using a tripod.

@@CptCurk fair enough. Thought I had a quick fix for you! I've mostly heard good things about the stab on this lense. Hope you figure it out.

Thanks for the review man! Very helpful
Oh wow, man, I didn't realize you were right downtown in RVA. Howdy, neighbor! Nice review and definitely digging that lens.
No way! You also a Fuji shooter?

Richmond 😌✊🏾
the video image is too poor, you need to fix it more
Superzoom!
That alone is worth it in my opinion. Overall, not the sharpest or fastest lens, but it's so versatile!
Couldn't agree more. Great versatility. That's what I love about it.

Unnecessary annoying music
