lovely. We are on our 3rd Border Terrier, gluttons for punishment! Our second one was a real 'Border' Border terrier, we got him from a hill farm in Tarset, Northumberland. Near to Kielder Reservoir about 5 miles from the border. Managed to get him without leaving our county as we are at the south end of Northumberland, so it was a local dog.
😍 I have a 2 year old Border. Great dogs, very intelligent and easy to train as they are keen to please. Hard outer shell but soft inner and respond to reward rather than a scolding.
Border terriers are fantastic little dogs .I have one he is nine now had him since he was eight weeks old. My best mate

I have a 6 month BT called frodo, he's my first pup ever snd very hard work but very rewarding. He loves other dogs so much so it's difficult to let him off lead because he'll run off and won't come back if he sees another doggo. I can trust him if we walk with my friends dogs as he loves to be in a pack. He's stubborn 😅 quick to learn abit slow to obey at times. I've actually lost some weight since having him because he keeps me busy lol 😆
Pups can be very energetic and usually then its difficult for them to listen. We can't let older BT off lead because if she hear/see/smell deers etc, she will gone. Puppy time can be sometimes very hard, but when you are consistent things will get easier in time and you get very best dog for rest of your life! Enjoy your puppy time with Frodo! Time goes fast :)
My favorite dog breed already have two terriers and would gladly get another very expensive to obtain over here though.

Haha interesting! I just had a 15 yesr old Border. It was my grandmas dog. She named it Possa. 🤣 We are swedish.
