I know people bellyache on the band changing with time, but I absolutely love when they use their new members to give a new twist on older songs. They do the same thing with Cowboy Dan and it's fantastic.
They killed it when I saw them at Red Rocks a couple years ago. We can't get the holy trinity of Eric/Isaac/Jeremiah again for now but the last two are still there representing that core and the new band members have adjusted well at least 3 years on from this and beyond
@@mattskemcflygle2728 I dig that Lisa Molinaro is there, especially. Hear her version of Coyotes? Almost feel like they should’ev stuck that one on Strangers - reminds me of real early Modest when they had that one woman doing back up vocals, forget her name but she was on a bunch of songs on Building Nothing and Long Drive especially. I tend to think of early MM as a four-piece with Dann Gallucci since he was there from pretty much the start until 2004 and featured in early promo photos and provided some notable guitar parts like the main riff to Float On and the chord progression to Trailer Trash. Feel like the dude doesn’t get the credit he deserves.
@@fuzzydunlop7928 ah yes I forget about Dann, definitely an integral part of their early days. I get that people like to wax nostalgia but as long as Isaac remains the creative mastermind I will hardly be disappointed with who he surrounds himself with
Saw them in Montréal this week. This version of tiny Cities brought shivers down my spine.
Excellent!

I've seen them 3-4 times live and each time they've done a really different version of this and Cowboy Dan. Two of my favorite songs by them.
Thanks for this! Peace
Amazing
