I love Sifu Beddar's videos, but can't find anything more recent than this clip from 2016. A video was released in March of this year, but it looks like a collection of old clips. Does anyone know of footage of Sifu Beddar from after 2016?

It's Funny to read comment Under this vid cause a lot of ignorant are like "yeah but it's not wing chun" or "yeah but in real fight it's not effectiv" gna gna gna XD
Let me clear your mind with simple words :
first of all : this is wing chun, the William chung style (I practice it too in my club), and if you are smart you can understand there is a LOT OF STYLE of wing chun depend of the sifu (master) you have! Every martial art change and evolve with generation, it's logical (this is why you have so many style of karate and no one do any remarks).
Then : For every people who say "this is not effectiv in real life in street fight etc", here it's a demonstration. A DE-MONS-TRA-TION. Of course they do a lot of movment : it's to make the show and show you the good point of this martial art : the speed.
and for god sake did you really think we will do so much movment to block one punch in real life? did you have any brain ? XD it's like every martial art : we block and hit the opponent the most faster as we could ! (you never heard of "sparring "session? )

Cheung is a fraud though. No disrespect to the effort people practicing his style have put in but it’s barely Wing Chun. It’s a butchered version meant to look flowery and not at all effective.
If you practice to perform in opera that’s fine, but don’t think you can learn this and be like Ip Man.

1 The casual style and the W Cheung style are the same, they make movment in different order but they are the same.
2 It's funny to see so much people wasted their time to debate in this sterile civil war :
in karate for exemple their is so many different style (include family's style) and no one say anithing
3 in opera your style is fine too, like every single battle style on the earth o/

Martial arts evolve and change through times, students and a lot of settings, it's shame to stay thick headed in one vision of WC.

I understand your observation. However I believe they are doing a demonstration designed to catch the eye of the public. Also timing and sensitivity drills, like in kali, boxing and even Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, are used to build attributes and are not fighting techniques themselves. Military rank acknowledgment does not change that. I do agree with your general assessment, I just think it may be a misrepresentation of what they are doing. Of course I have to admit I also may be giving credit to a demonstration where I have no way of knowing their intentions either. I am basing my opinion only upon lots of other material that this Sifu has released showing him cross training, as we all do, in multiple martial arts and then putting together his training ideas.

Esto no es para matones. Esto es un arte marcial destinado a dominar al lobo malo de nuestros interior. Para pelear en callejuelas comprende un fierro y no se meta en líos.

Nice demonstration. Sadly, MMA and UFC has proven that, if you only knew this style and attempted to fight in a match, you'd get killed pretty quickly once your opponent took you to the ground. You'd be better served knowing a combination of Judo and BJJ..

You can't prove a style by one person's ability. Those whom want notoriety or gain wealth for their fighting, are fighting for the wrong purpose, and so they shall lose.

It's true that any single dimension gets trashed. That recently became a reality even for grappling only dimensionals.
Niw.could a strikers beat this style, probably but that likely mostly due to lack of real contact training and same outcome if situations were reversed.

It’s like if it’s all been rehearsed, you do this move and I will block you like this etc, but if you was in a real fight it just do not work, I find that arm fencing bit quite funny though... I did Kung fu for a few years and it’s a similar thing, the best way to sort someone out is to smash their forearms into bits as you block their attack as it brakes their bones lol it’s fun what you know how.

This is good Demonstration for training but in Real Life Situations is Different . That where we have to learn how to apply it . P. S. I train in Wing Chun Traditional not Modified . There people that train in Wing Chun but Can Not Convince a Modified version what they know is not Real Wing Chun .

This is only effective if you’re inside a closet with minimal room to maneuver. Otherwise the opponent can run circles around you, hit you and break your nose.

This is insane, no w.c. is long fist. It is supposed to be stick to body, with short strike . Looks pretty, but completely not combative. This has to be put away. Wing Chun Kwen is a Shaloin short strike art. Almost lost. Even on the dummies, it's meant to deliver short strikes and plum flower footwork.
