Queenstown New Zealand has been transformed to a winter wonderland with first major snowfall of 2021 blanketing the mountains. The Remarkables and Coronet Ski Fields all opened with excellent snow on top, finally winter is coming:)

Hi there, you don't need the chain if you drive in the cities. But pls do carry chains all the time in winter if driving in south island. If you go to ski field or some mountains, snow chain must be carried and you may need it if weather changed. Please check the mountain report before you go. Safe driving:)

My partner and I booked a trip to Queenstown for this month in 2 weeks, the booking was made last year and we just brought a house this year as well and my partner is unsure of going so now I am showing her this video of how pretty the snow is lol and now we are going yay
