- A film that summarises a project that ran in two mainstream schools, as well as one for alternative provision, in the London Borough of Lewisham between January and March 2021.
It shows how the schools were supported to build resilience via culturally sensitive interventions. This involved work with children, parents/carers and teaching staff in groups and on a one-to-one basis.
This was part of the cultural responses to trauma and serious violence project and funded by the Youth Justice Board. The overall aim was to improve children’s mental health and reduce their vulnerability to involvement in serious violence.
This film was made by Power The Fight.
