Der Deckel liegt einfach nur oben drauf. Wenn die Küken schlüpfen bewegen sie sich sehr tollpatschig. Sobald sie an den Deckel stoßen, fällt dieser herunter. So ist es bei uns passiert. Ich würde von diesem Gerät abraten. Dann lieber ein paar € mehr investieren.

How do you adjust humidity?

You should NEVER put quail and chicken eggs together while quail eggs hatch at 18 days and chicken at 21 days! PLUS never open the machine until the babies are dry! When the quails hatch the machine must been closed until the chickens hatch. How will you do that!! All your quails will die!

I learned this the hard way. On day 4 I thought I had unfertilized eggs. The ones closest to the water holder develop alot slower

No es buena. El aire caliente sale solo por un lado. Los huevos mas cercanos se achicharran y los de los extremos no llegan a la temperatura. No sirve el calibrar el termostato. No es buena compra.
