Bought this lift in 2005, have used it constantly since then with zero issues. As mentioned elsewhere if you have a very large bike on it be careful as the lift itself isn't that heavy and you can knock it off balance if your really torque on something. I've way overloaded it with 1500 pound UTV's that required helping it to lift but once locked in at height it worked great. Great value for a home wrencher.

@@Michael-s1b yeah definitely I just loaded my sport tourer up on it which is about 680 pounds and it lifted it effortlessly. Thanks for watching

Good video. I have been using one of these lifts for 15 years now. The stock wheel stop works fine on 17" wheels on my litre bike but is totally inadequate for my other bikes. I will be buying and installing the upgraded wheel vise!
I did add other U-Bolt tiedown points for bike support.

Good lift if set up properly make sure you level it. They will tip forward when loading a bike made 2 legs from threaded rod problem solved . run a bolt and nut thru rear wheels will keep it from sliding forward. I have 2 of them had everything from mopeds to a decked out road king on it . Done all kinds of work on the them from repairs ,custom builds and restorations.

Hey man just seen your 13’ Elantra video and was wondering which Miata hub you were using for the quick release? Like what year Miata did you use to get the hub (older or newer) and what hub brand you used

I had this same lift. Be very careful. The base is too narrow and once it starts to lean you can hang it up. The thing will go over in the blink of an eye.

@@retiredarmyvet2018 I dont know how because i rocked the bike with it all the way pumped up and the base didn’t move at all. You gotta make sure the bike is strapped down properly and the base is level

@@MChappysGarage The bike didn't almost go over. The bike was strapped to the lift, front and back. The lift almost went over. I have a street glide so I was at the limit for the lift. Do a little looking around. You'll see more people saying the lift is just for small motorcycle or dirt bikes.
