- After over a year, I wanted to kick off the Artists' Spotlight Series again.
This time, we welcome the wonderful Yorkshire based painter, Ruth Fitton.
Ruth's work goes from strength to strength, and there were questions I wanted to ask. Mainly concerning how Ruth has developed her new studio and the live sessions she runs there, her involvement and knowledge of the ROI (Royal Institute of Oil Painters) and of course, brush talk as we launch Ruth's new brush set with us.
Take a seat, and we hope you will enjoy listening to us both catch up!

I'm a new fan of her work and I think she's an incredible painter and artist. Her paintings are so breathtaking and delicate. The care in each brushstroke is visually telling, and it's such a privilege to have found this interview and get some insight into the person whose work I've admired since. Great work from the interviewer as well. Bravo 👏🏽
Talented, intelligent, well spoken, humble and knowledgeable and beautiful. Ruth Fitton is an absolute delight and I'm not a portrait painter.
Absolutely!
I have heard about Ruth before, and really like her work, but after this interview, I'm in love! Such a wonderful person
Fantastic interview. I recently discovered Ruth on Instagram and was captivated. So fresh and true to herself and beautiful. Not to mention her incredible work.
Thank you, Felicity. I'm glad you enjoyed this interview! :) Symi
Season 3 oh boy, I love this show!
