I love that your appreciation for God's words isn't... fluffy... or easy... like, you have a beautiful face, aesthetic bible- but still so willing to do the hard work. It's wonderful to feel inspired by somebody artistic who isn't also, I'm sad to say it, shallow. You have all the things!!

I grew up where it was taboo to mark in your Bible. I mean, it was okay to underline certain passages, but it shouldn't be overbearing. I'm at the point that I thrive marking in it. I keep a journal to use during church, but I'm loving all the colors and useful tips you give! I'm looking forward to diving in. And love all your earrings!

  • @missmaria3364

I hear you sister. To keep my brain engaged I find it helps to use bright colours, add stickers, tabs, write on sticky notes - more or less what Faith does! - but always with purpose, as she says. Also optimise on the times when your brain is happy to hyper focus. By all means try and fall into a routine, and in an ideal world we would do that, but sometimes brain won’t comply, right? And if you force yourself, you could end up feeling frustrated. I’d definitely encourage you to keep praying about it, ask the Lord to guide you in ways to enjoy your bible study and get the most from it - even if that means doing something a little different, it doesn’t matter if it works for you. Wishing you every success with your Bible study ❤️

I won't buy a Bible I can't write in! When my vision started to change with age, I had to start replacing my Bibles with large print versions. Since I also can't just read the Bible, I need to make sure there is room for notes and questions. I only started watching videos about "artsy" ways to put notes in my Bibles and I must say that, though I am not a crafty person, I have found other uses for the sticky notes that I used to only use in my previous life as an office worker! I don't draw or place cute little stickers on the pages, but I have discovered some valuable tools for highlighting, etc., by following the few crafty TH-camrs that are on line. I appreciate your channel because you remain faithful to the Bible, so please continue to do God's amazing work. :)

From Buffalo, N.Y. So many Christians don't know how to study and they just take the pastor or teachers word for what the WORD says and sadly to say some preachers n teachers know that and take advantage of the flock that way. But for a Christian to be taught how to study and dig deep, WOW! In Luck 5 with Jesus teaching on the (shore) of the lake is shallow. Now for Jesus teaching the same people from the depths of the water while in a boat is deeper knowledge of the Truth of God's Word. And now casting one's (CLEANED NET) and casting it in the DEPTHS of the Water and pulling up so many fish (Knowledge) is amazing indeed. But to remember that knowledge without wisdom is not that great either oh puffed up head. Humility opens doors and pride closes them. // These videos are indeed Refreshing, Thank You. But of course all of this shows us that we need the Holy Spirit of God to teach us and lead us into ALL Truth. Remember what was said to Jesus, what is truth? The Spirit, He will show Truth.

  • @berglen100
    @berglen100 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Ecclesiastes @: “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God seeks what has been driven away.” The “natural man” cannot grasp that, for to him reality is based only on the evidence of the senses. The man of reason could justify the verse’s end, saying if it has any meaning then the writer must mean recurrence. The sun comes every day and the moon completes its cycle and the seasons come and go. If we took a picture of the universe today, the scientists can compute how long it will take to return to this point in the picture. So the intellectual man could justify the verse; but that is not what is meant, for it is addressed not to the man of reason or the man of sense, but to the man of Imagination. What is it all about? “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been, and God seeks what has been driven away.”ple little verse and show you why it is not addressed to the natural man,

How do I study while wrestling with the fact that the majority of men in the Bible think women are less than them?
Just curious, I just found your channel❤

Just remember to keep it in context of culture and then remember when Jesus came he doesn't see sex or the gender of women. Women were his biggest supporters.

Definitely not too late! God can absolutely honor your desire to lead your children in the right way and He can make up for lost time like it’s nothing. Please let me know if you need any recommendations for kids’ resources. I was a Sunday school teacher for several years and still mentor kids, so I have a bunch of Google docs with lessons and book recommendations. And this may sound strange, but as someone who wasn’t taught the bible as a kid and spent some of my teen years resentful about that after it was taught to me by someone other than my parents, I can tell you that simply telling your kids, “I’m sorry I didn’t teach this to you sooner, I’m just now learning it too” can go a long way. Kids are very forgiving and willing to learn if you’re just honest with them.

Listen carefully HolySpirit is speaking to you now.
I Am (AlmightyJesus) only the Holy Father, HolySon and Holy Spirit in the Trinity mode forever Amen
I Am the I Am (AlmightyJesus), the true everlasting God, who created all heavens and earth. I myself sent my HolySpirit down to the earth in Virgin mother Mary womb, which latter became human flesh and called as kingChrist, who lived holy unsinful life, revealed about Myself, about My promises, My expectations from human beings, My Wrath against disobedience, unholy & unrighteousness people and finally sacrificed his life in the Holy cross to save mankind from all the worldly sins.
Be wise and select only genuine righteousness people in the earth and preach the Gospel as much as you can till the last breath of your life. Do not worry you are special to Me and I will reward you greatly in the heaven My dear precious child.

This all depends on religion if it is the same as Christianity or Catholic but if your not any of these please read as well ( lastly not trying to force anything or push it I just what to share and help you and tell you thing you may not know) Sharing the message Please don’t say God’s name in Vain it means your saying his name has no purpose or he doesn’t mean anything please say oh my gosh Also please don’t believe in Zodiacs their not supposed to tell you who you are you find yourself it is also a sin to God also please do not believe in luck DONT say it to others it means your saying God DIDNT plan it for you Also DONT say karma as luck DONT say it to others this saying is also a Sin as luck is karma this also goes for things like yoga and etc it is not Christian nor Biblical though others have different religions if you have Christian or Catholic religion please listen Ex:Christians should not believe in karma because the sum of people's works does not decide whether they are saved or not. Only faith in Jesus Christ saves people from condemnation. Through God's grace, Christians are gifted a relationship with Jesus instead of the death they deserve. lastly DONT curse it dishonors God and is also a sin Ex: “Ephesians 4:29 Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.”also DONT lie.
"thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour"; for this reason, lying is generally considered a sin in Christianity.
Pride is often considered a negative force in human existence-the opposite of humility and a source of social friction. It's even been called the “deadliest sin.” ... Pride makes us feel good, and it's an indication to ourselves that we are behaving in a way congruent with the values of our society.
DONT say that someone or yourself is ugly it means your saying your DONT like the way God made you but he made you that way for a reason.”
Also please do not believe in fortune tellers or any type of magic because God has been planning for your future also
The Bible tells you and warns you of Witchcraft and more like fortune telling, and necromancy this is what the devil uses these things did not come from God, (by the way Their is one true living God not gods) and example in the Bible is Deuteronomy 18:9-12 “When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there.”“Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,”“or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.”“Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you.”
As You can see this is very serious and you must not mess with this and was punishable by death in the Mosaic Law.
Example: Exodus 22:18 NIV ““Do not allow a sorceress to live.”
    Example: Leviticus 20:27 NIV
““ ‘A man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads.’ ””
Another example is this: 1 Chronicles 10:13 NIV
“Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord; he did not keep the word of the Lord and even consulted a medium for guidance,”
    GOT QUESTION MINISTRIES:
”Engaging in a practice or taking a substance to achieve an altered state of consciousness is a form of witchcraft.
    This can bring demonic spirits..
“For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he has rejected you as king.””
    1 Samuel 15:23 NIV
    Examples of Witchcraft:
    Zodiacs (Horoscopes)
    Eastern meditation rituals
    Ouija boards
    Tarot card readings
and some video and role playing games..
“Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.”
    Revelation 22:15 NIV
    Leviticus 19:31
31 “Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.”
“A gossip betrays a confidence, but a truswtworthy person keeps a secret.” “A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends” (11:13; 16:28, NIV).”
Jesus Christ called the Holy Spirit "Spirit of Truth" (John 14:17; 15:26; 16:13) and warned us, "All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men; but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven unto men" (Matthew 12:31). EX: saying Omg or saying The Lord Jesus Christ or God as a curse word
Also when saying Jesus or God or even Lord please have them in capital it means something horrible or bad also when saying You and Your when talking about them also when saying Bible.
Also please don’t listen songs with bad meanings toward people or cursing it brings horrible thoughts into your head and wants you would never want..
And always forgive don’t say you hate someone you have committed murder in your heart forgive others always as God has always forgave you for your sins and love that person as Jesus loves You.. “Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
    Matthew 22:37-39 NIV
    bible.com/bible/111/mat.22.37-39.NIV.
never be jealous of someone and always have patience before getting angry it it okay to be angry just have patience
Lastly DONT think that your a “good person it says in the Bible that no one is good and if your say you are you are saying God is lying and the Bible says that it is impossible for God to lie.”Ray Comfort..
Lastly don't say the word j-e -e z- because the original word for it is Jesus this is also blasphemy also one more thing love others as you love yourself
“It is NOT OK to practice the law of attraction as a Christian. God intended us to abide by His word. Based on the Bible alone, the law of attraction does not line up with scripture. In fact, the law of attraction blasphemes God.”“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
    Hebrews 11:6 NIV
“He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.”
    Hebrews 11:26-28 NIV
Do not be lazy it is against the Bible..
    Examples:
“Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.”
    Proverbs 10:4 NIV
“Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest- and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man.”
    Proverbs 6:6-11 NIV
    bible.com/bible/111/pro.6.6-11.NIV
“• “Spirit guides” are not protective, helpful angels. When they actually exist, they are disguised demons attempting to lead us into sin or destruction. Interacting with demonic guides is expressly forbidden in the Bible (Leviticus 20:27). James 4:7 tells us to resist such beings, not trust and follow them.
    • Numerology is an occult practice that has no basis in Scripture and no place in the Christian life. Although the Bible uses numbers such as 7 and 40 to represent specific things, this does not mean that every number has a hidden meaning. Numerology is a form of fortune-telling, which the Bible absolutely condemns (Leviticus 19:31; Deuteronomy 18:10-13; Galatians 5:19-20).
    • God communicates with us through His Word, not the face of our alarm clock. He established the Bible to give us what we need to know about Him (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and wise counselors to help us apply the Bible to our lives (1 Corinthians 11:1). Nowhere in the Bible does it suggest God communicates through hidden meanings in numbers outside of the Bible.”
Never swear on something or someone
“The Apostle has used oaths in his Epistles, and by this shows us how that ought to be taken, I say unto you, Swear not at all, namely, lest by allowing ourselves to swear at all we come to readiness in swearing, from readiness we come to a habit of swearing, and from a habit of swearing we fall into perjury.” Matthew 5:34
Examples: I s-w-e-a-r I’m going to kill you.
or saying you s-w-e-a-r in God’s name

When sharing information to the public, you need to slow it down and not talk so fast, your coming across as if you have only a few minutes. It makes your presentation not enjoyable. So stop talking so fast and slow it down. I'm not even old and I'm giving you advice.
