- It's another travel day and, it was an adventure! After a night of dealing with food poisoning it's time to hit the rails. We boarded the high-speed rail from Venice to Rome and you can come along!
Shocking 😂 stuff 😅 at least you got to tell the tail of the plug and socket 😮 great views again and I love train travel so relaxing - keep up the good work guys poor Simone
Thanks 👍 Glad you enjoyed it Kevin...still a lot more to come!
Way to make an entrance GoodTimers 💥 😂 That's funny the ambulance goes by at the same time
I thought for sure they were fire engines and that I'd caught something on fire...thank God they were able to fix it! Welcome to Rome !
Winter is the only time to travel 👍. I hate the heat. Wonderful trip & sorry y’all get sick. I usually carry pepto tablets or tums everywhere. No cars, sounds like a dream. I retired a few years earlier, due to Houston traffic 🥹. Fast trains, wow! What a dream vacation 🎉🎉👍🍀
You're right, it's much easier to handle the crowds in winter. It really was a dream trip! Thanks for the comments KissyKat
Venice looks so amazing...all the water and bridges and canals and shops...just so cool. All the baked goods do look good, but I am so sorry you guys were not feeling great. Yes, it is so awesome to explore and see what you can find. Uh Oh! Blew the fuze. Crazy. Love the pictures at the end.
Venice was so special...it's too bad our visit there literally ended on a sour note. But i would love to go back one day. There was still so much of the city we didn't get to experience. I blame the fuse being blown on the cheap converter from Wal-Mart. And yes, it was crazy. I thought i knocked the whole damn hotel power out! 😆 Thanks for the comments, Walt.
as i catch up, i tear myself away from the riveting pat’s vs chargers game🤮. good to see my pat’s n your giants fighting for the super…rrrr…number one pick! lol.
anyway, thx again guys, sorry you guys had a few bumps, still great vids. 👌🏻
Lol...the Patriots are definitely not riveting! But I think the Giants might be even worse. Glad you are enjoying the vlogs!
You picked another great looking hotel. Liked the train ride.
The train ride was nice but would have been better if the sun didn't set. I wish I had put more thought before booking a later train. And the hotel was small compared to Venice but still very nice.
The GoodTimers “Blazing 🔥☄️🔥☄️” a trail through Italy… 😂!! I’ll bet the Double Tree staff recognizes you tomorrow at breakfast…🤣!!! I’ve never been on a train trip. This is pretty cool 👍! Simone is a trooper though! See you in Rome!!
Umm... yeah, the staff recognized me for the remainder of vacation... They waved and then usually quickly walked away in the opposite direction 😆
@ 😂😅
Wishing you a wonderful New Year! 🎉⛄⛄🎊🎉
Thank you so much! Wishing you a happy New Year as well!
Happy New Year Andy and Simone
Happy New Years my friend 🧡
Interesting about all the Islands I never realized that. Amazing and beautiful videos guys, Thanks for sharing your trip, Happy New Year to you both!!
Venice is full of surprises! Happy New Year to you too! We appreciate the comments Dell!
Looks like quite a trip you had going here. Very interesting! Happy New Year! 🎉🎉
It truly was! Happy New Year to you too!
400 Islands, wow, I didn't know that, A Good Times Productions educates 👍🏻
Poor Simone looked washed out on the train bless her😢 Ha ha, I thought at first you'd blown the power to the whole hotel at first😂
Entertainment plus you learn things when watching our vlogs...that must be why no one watches lol. Simone was definitely not feeling good during that train ride...she got progressively worse as the day went on. I was so scared that I'd knocked out the whole hotel also...can you imagine if that happened...I'd never be allowed across the border again 😆
Hey looks like I am 1st. well, coffee and a bagel and some Simone and Andy. You are a fan. I would think every day Venice is flooding. It's slowly sinking. New artwork for the home? Thanks for the timelapse. So sorry Simone was feeling bad. Sucks to be sick when on vacation. Walking into a post in Vegas and almost falling into a priest in Rome. What's next for you? Damn Americans trying to burn down the building with their electrical devices. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
You're always first in my heart... not really. Venice usually floods during the full moon cycles when there is a high tide. And yes, it is slowly sinking, but I'm fairly positive it will still outlast us all. The artwork was fun. The power going off scared the hell out of me. I thought I'd caught the place on fire, lol. It was a long first night in Rome for Simone, but thankfully, she recovered the next day! Thanks for watching PJ
Nice job showing the cities. Seems liked you walked almost as much as Vegas! Sorry you were sick.
We definitely walked, then walked again and then walked even more. Sick is never fun...thankfully it only lasted 24 hours!
Sorry to hear you were unwell, I hope you recovered quickly. I imagine there would be way too much good food to miss out on in Rome if you’re unable to eat.
I'm sure we'll be eating our way through Rome in upcoming episodes... we were feeling much better on day two, thank you for watching!
Sorry to hear that you were sick and for the power outage.
Thanks Neil it was an interesting day for sure!
Hi A&S - It's so hard to comprehend how old the city of Venice actually is - especially the buildings. There doesn't seem to be a bad view from anywhere on the water or from any roof. Interesting "DAM" exhibit - were the "pieces of art" expensive? Does the train station have the same security screening issues? Did the priests bless you while on the train? 🤨 Very nice room in Rome. Hope Simone is on the mend and gets her appetite back - food poisoning is so frustrating! 🤢🤮 Great vlog guys - looking forward to the rest in the series - we're leaving for Vegas this morning. Have a Safe and Prosperous 2025. Hugs & cheers to you both!!!!😎❤🍻
The city of Venice is definitely bigger than it appears...im guessing we only actually only saw half of it...and yes, those views from the rooftops never get old. I actually don't think any of the art had prices on them. We did see some security doing random bag checks at the train station, but other than that, there was no real screening of anything. The Priests sat right in the row in front of us on the train, and I think they may have said a prayer for Pickles for a speedy recovery from food poisoning. The room was much smaller in Rome than in Venice, but it was still nice, very clean and cozy. I'm glad I didn't burn it down, lol. Have fun in Vegas, and happy New Year to you and Curtis! ❤️
