So sorry you’re still not well! Really appreciate you still doing this, but if you can’t just post a message and we’ll all understand. Get better soon! X
Thankyou Kate. I think your amazing, still doing this video for us whilst feeling so poorly. Bless you. I do hope you start to feel better soon. 🙏🏻🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Take care and take some vitamin C, more than you think you should. The content you produce is always first rate and top notch. We so appreciate you when hanging in there through all of life's big and small challenges.
You made it to the end and none of us died! What a great batch of patterns Kate! Thanks for moving through them! XOX PS Get better….the plague continues on in our house as well. Week 3 or 4 now…
Thanks so much Kate for battling on when all you really want to do is be in bed !!! So hard to rest up when you have a toddler but hope you feel better soon.
Outstanding selection! Thank you Kate, for pushing through this week. What a fantastic collection from Maison Fauve!! I'd love to sew each one of them. Real style & elegance.
thank you so much Kate oh my god those French patterns - i'm going straight to your website next - they're beautiful and i love the models! get well soon gorgeous xxx
Thanks Kate, really enjoy your streams - sorry you're still suffering and that you're able to give it the boot soon, these viruses are exhausting at the best of times.
The Tessuti Avery skirt reminds me of a Burda pattern that has been re-released many times over the past 35 years. This style really does work in a drapey fabric and the bias isn't uncontrollable. At this point, I have made it in every size and it manages to always flatter. Tessuti is good for understanding what looks good with minimal effort .. proportions and fabric.
Catching up on vlogs - hope you are feeling much better by the time you read this. I wonder if you were thinking of blouson for the jacket? Loved this collection, especially the skirt and the first Maison Fauve blouse.
OOOhh...Love all the patterns!! Thank you so much Kate, and please see a physician!! Get well, soon!! We all love you!! Take proper care of yourself, a lot of nasty viruses going around right now!!
Thanks for struggling through, it was great as usual. I bet I wasn’t the only one shouting ‘cocoon! Cocoon!’ At the screen 😂 hope you feel better soon 😊
Hi! Omg I am going crazy did you feature a sweater vest popover type top on one of these new release vids? It is like a v-neck sweater poncho that you put over a shirt. I think it had little ties on the side. I could have sworn I saw you feature it but can't find it in the videos or searching on the site. Maybe I'm just using the wrong key words do you (or any lovely person in the comments) know what pattern im talking about? I have seen a lot of women in NYC wearing this style rn and it looks cute I want to make one.
I'm not sure cocoon is the word Kate was searching jor. She mentioned the other skirt was a bias cut one so perhaps it was a 'slip' skirt she meant? I would actually love it if someone would put out a cocoon style skirt! You see them in some designer shops but finding a pattern is impossible. Hundreds of gathered skirt patterns (which you really don't even need a pattern for!) - why doesn't anyone do something more interesting and on trend? Sorry for the rant... I keep waiting and hoping 😮
Hi, I thought she was referring to the coat shape when she said cocoon?🤷♀️But Sew Different have a pinafore and a tulip skirt with cocoon shaped hips & hems, and Named has a very cute wrap dress with a similar hem that would make you wiggle as you walk, in a very retro way! I think Sew Over It also have a tulip skirt pattern. Not sure if these are the shape you’re after, but they’re very cool patterns! 😊
Perhaps part of the reason you’re still feeling poorly is because you’re so busy being a mum to a toddler, partner , working , making and editing vlogs for us and so on? You take care please…
Hi Kate. There was me complaining that all the independent pattern companies put out are loose baggy and shapeless. Then along comes Maison Fauve with some properly fitted clothes, at last. I think I've had the same bug as you, two weeks of feeling really rough and a course of antibiotics and it's still here. I hope you feel better soon. Please take good care of yourself, and stay hydrated. I find honey and lemon working well on my scratchy throat (a tot of whiskey in it doesn't hurt). 🤧🤧🤧🩵
Thank you Kate for struggling through when you don’t feel well. I look forward to your pattern review all week! Hope you feel better soon 😘
So sorry you’re still not well! Really appreciate you still doing this, but if you can’t just post a message and we’ll all understand. Get better soon! X

Fabulous patterns. The second Deflante blouse reminds me of blouses we wore in the 1980’s. 👌💕

The Cliff Coat looks amazing. Those diagonal lines …I believe is an actual flap of fabric. Kinda makes it look like a double collar. Get well soon.
It's very clever!
Feel better, Kate!

Gorgeous Maison Fauve drop- I'm clearly not the only one who thinks so as the cowl neck blouse is sold out already!
We will have to grab some more. It is lovely!
