    We just watched your video this morning at breakfast, my boys and I were up there a few years ago and I can attest to the hardship of walking in the tundra. Great video

    Awesome! Just finding your stuff catching myself up on the older content! Since you guys were out for days on end on this hunt to fill all the tags, what did you guys do with the meat for the days after the kill to ensure it stayed viable for the whole trip/didn’t get eaten by grizzlies/other predators?

      Good question! It was cold enough at night to keep the meat from spoiling. We kept the meat under a tarp a few hundred yards from camp and hoped for the best with the bears. I suppose we lucked out.

    Great bull!! What's the price range to hunts those??

      Hey Wayne, from Idaho it was about $5k for the entire trip, all in. And we didn't have any sweat-heart deals or anything.

    Nice work guys. Do you do the guttless method when you quarter and part them out ?

    • @Argali
      @Argali  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      James, we typically do the gutless method, and then pull the guts out to get the tenderloins and heart. On this trip, since we had to take the rib cages out whole per AK regs, we did it differently for each animal depending on circumstances and what was the cleanest/easiest. I think we did one straight up gutless and the rest were a hybrid approach of taking off some of the quarters, pulling the guts, then butchering the rest.

    Wind seemed like it was ripping through there. Was it like that the whole trip?

    • @Argali
      @Argali  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Seth, it definitely ripped most of the days. We did have a few calm mornings, but most days we had a little wind.
