- Short Vlog of trying to get to grips with a long touring board as a beginner. Decided to go straight for the intermediate board with a view to learning for longer adventures. Been struggling with balance which put me off from using it. Decided to give it another go, glad I did.

Has it got any easier? I'm very tempted by this board but it's 10cm narrower than my current board
Yes, after a few sessions you get used to it. As soon as your up and moving its stable. Plus you get the extra speed and it tracks pretty straight. im pleased i went for it over a wider board. Hope this helps.
Just a tip, you paddle face is the wrong way around 👍🏼 g ha ave the 12 ft bluefin carbon and I’m considering changing it for the 14 ft

Is it your first time?
It was my first time on the river. Its harder than it looks to keep your balance but getting better. Looking forward to getting out on it when the weather gets better!
@@SVTaurito I’ve never paddled with sup before so Ill probably experienced same thing coz instead of getting a beginner board I jumped to a touring model, narrower and longer but at the end once I learned how to ride it will served my goal of long distance paddling. Cheers!
@@UWI-Anna good call, I did it for the same reason. Was no point in getting a beginner board as I would have wanted to change it in a few months. Its harder to learn but more rewarding when you get it right also much faster! Good luck with it
