Thank you for the videos. I appreciated the work you did for the Forge Guard leveling spec and ive been learning about the game a lot better because of your works. Keep at it!
I tried doing Lightless Arbor at level 22 for the skip on a Forge Guard and died 4 times to the Poison/Ignite dots. Having to spec into stun avoidance to see if I can just outheal the damage as long as I'm not being stunned.
ty! a lot of ppl have been saying hybrid is just straight up bad, but u gave me the confidence to keep playing it. it works great for cruising a few hundred corruption on a med budget for me. we'll see if i end up min/maxing it
Hybrid isn't as strong as low life, but right now low life is a bit overpowered. The key is to invest into it properly with a synergistic "build around" like Barbute on Warlock.
@@Tenkiei It is annoying how Lich can't run low life equipment because reaper form is entirely based around negative regeneration. So your essentially forced into hyprid ward builds. I have one question, is off-hand catalyst 100% needed for hyprid build? Like how much ward do you lose for not using it? in the video, you take it off but you don't show exactly how much ward would be lost from not using it.
i feel like its good to keep in mind that poison stacks reduce poison resistance and shock reduces lightning resistance. Thats why i overcap this resistances more then the other ones.
And now for a true challenge: explain Primalist defenses if they're not using cleaver solution! xD Memes aside, thanks for the really good coverage of so many LE topics!
Depends on what kind of Primalist. Druid can get plenty of defenses with max armor in Spriggan Form, super boosted Endurance in Bear Form (and in general), easy crit avoidance cap when you use a Spriggan buddy, stuff like Aspect of the Boar, spamming healing totems. There's probably more but those are the ones I personally used.
Thanks! The best way to solve Primalist defenses without Cleaver solution is to play runemaster. Jokes aside, I haven't explored primalist much but I do think you can get a solid life version going with high regen, armor, bear form or spriggan form for additional bonuses and 4k+ life.
I’m clutching Cleaver Solution on Pally too… My ward generation is through the roof with it, anything else and I feel squishy. I’m not optimized at all though, obviously.
I've died three times between level 26-36 on hardcore.. getting resistances up high is very hard. I think I just need to farm a little more before attempting the necrotic part of the campaign
I got to 1379 corruption with life based druid and 1059 with falconer , the best defence at this corruption and higher is luck trying to avoid attacks, basically most of the Boss spells instakill you.
Great video! I personally think the defenses should get a little rework, because Ward and low life is a bit too strong. But in the meantime we use this and your video helps to explain it good! Thank you
Great video, what do you recommend for Void Knight? I'm playing Erasing strike/Void cleave and its fun but I'd like to scale up defenses for empowered monos.
Quick question you may know. The curse torment, is s dot... but I see it critical hit on initial hit. Is it s dot? Is it worth scaling crit or do or what?
if ever you see something critted, try comparing it to the normal dot ticks, they're pretty much the same. So I think better to focus on just crit multi instead for Fissure's Grim Tide node
@@aliceleblanc7713 i do have that chest boots and frostbite (no LPs). somehow dieing at corrupt 120s. now im puzzled what else could have killed me apart from bleed or dot
its other DoT but not Bleed since youll be immune to those if you have exanguinous, Less damage taken and Ward per second(if ward type) are some ways to counter DoT damage
Low Life setups by their nature basically require LP or really good exalteds, you're probably dying to having too little ward then having your ward gen be overwhelmed.
is a low life ward build viable on frostblade druid? (only physical, bleeding & frost damage). Do you have a general opinion on frostblade druid? not worth it? thanks for the video :)
Is not reduced bonus damage from critical strikes works as follows: Suppose enemies has crit multi 200%, meaning 100% extra bonus damage from crit. Now, If we have 50% reduced bonus damage from critical strikes, the enemy will deal only 100% / (1 + 0.5) = 66% extra bonus damage from crit, instead of 50% (100% - 50%)
Thats not how reduced bonus dmg works. Even if enemy had 1000% crit multi, the calculation happens after so 100% bonus dmg reduction counters the 1000% in its entirety
@@Tenkiei Yeah I don't think I've seen it either. Hoping they add this, and some other stats that are missing. Can be quite frustrating to make builds sometimes when you don't have access to the total/sum information.

damage dealt to mana before health is awesome too

@@TheGrouch91 aaah, I see the issue. My first ever character (I started playing on launch) was a Beast Master and I am currently playing a Shaman xD
Dude great video, I thought low life ward was the only way

If they nerf ward they should buff life

Health, Armor, and Block tends to work well. Though if you have the gear you can use Healing Hands to make a ward battery as well.
I'll try out armor and health. That should scale with the rest of my setup. Thanks man! @@Tenkiei
What build are you using at 19:13? That looks awesome!
thats the hammerdin (paladin specced into hammer throw)

@famlivingroom1790 the dot ticks are usually 3-5K higher then the crits... that's why I was wondering what would be better to scale
if u go ward, how do u solve issue over bleed? i have crit avoid, max res, but i think bleed or dot is killing me hard. Bleed ignores wards. yes?
The chest makes you immune to bleed at low health

Mana as a defence for mage would be nice... It can also be a huge defence boost
Technically it is a defense, but it's extremely niche atm.
@@Tenkiei i like it for the 5 life to 1 mana ratio ;)
Is "Reduced Bonus Damage Taken from Critical Strikes" listed in the character panel anywhere?
I don't remember seeing it in the panel, it's a relatively new stat. But maybe I just missed it.

Can be quite frustrating to make builds sometimes when you don't have access to the total/sum information.
Step one, choose an OP build, step two....
I wanna listen to your video but the music too loud in my opinion
