I used ubuntu 12.04 in this tutorial.
Actually, you can ask and search in ns3 google group for type of error you are facing

haristianto sulung Permadi..... I used it in Linux mint 17.3 - 64 bit OS..... And I'm trying to install ns3.27.....

I dont know the default compiler in Linux Mint 17.3, but you need to have compiler (at least gcc-4.9) to build ns-3.27. Try upgrade the compiler, I think thats the problem
