One must be very careful when choosing a hot runner system. Systems with a small bearing between the cavity and the hot runner nozzle are very susceptible to runner leakage over time. Once this happens it is a total nightmare. Cleaning the mold , replacing heaters and thermocouples will NOT solve the problem. Choose a supplier with a large sealing surface between the cavity and runner nozzle. In my experience Yudo was the bees choice.
