I hate when guys who think they have knowledge lube their guns with a hundredth of a drop of oil lol… I never, ever have malfunctions and I run everything wet - it also makes cleaning a breeze! Great video!
1911 9mm is all about the magazines. Tripp Research mags are a must (Not the Wilson mags). 1911 45ACP use Wilson mags. I have been running Kimber 1911s for many years and they work great.
Any complaints with the Kimber? I know you said you chose the Colt over it. Was that just because of the name and collectibility? Did they otherwise shoot the same / same reliability?
Why the holy heck would you want a 9mm on a 19/2011 frame? I'll bet my life that a modified Glock will put these 1911's to shame.. Actually, I will put a bone stock Glock up against everything in this video.. Your splits leaves a lot to be desired, btw... Have a 1911 Gold Cup here outfitted with ever Wilson upgrade imaginable... Absolutely the most sweet auto I've ever shot, no more accurate than a G17, G19 and especially the 40 or 10mm.. IF you need the additional weight of a steel body, that IS NOT the gun.. THAT is YOU! I could lay down the Underwood or Buffalo Bore ammo out of a G20 or G40 without a single flaw... Full framed steel is for "girls"... Kimber is awesome.. Wilson is awesome... They are definitely AWESOMELY overpriced... All that "wet" talk is silly... Guess what doesn't need to be run wet??? GLOCK..

You had me at "i shoot Sig, X5, and XDM" those are my kind of guns
I've had good luck with the Wilson ETM 9MM and Dawson 9mm Mags.

I'm going to get some Tripp mags!
WC mags run great in my 9mm Dan Wesson ECO.

Words to live by "the wetter the better" i run em wet too lol
Absolutely! LOL
Don't baby sit the slide back let it run do it's job. He's just excited all together
How much sir ? 1911 , 9mm ?
Which one did you keep?
I actually kept the Colt. In the end I've never actually owned a Colt and because it shot as good as the Kimber I had to go ahead and keep that one.
@@ksoutdoorsports nice!
Buy the $ 1000.00 guns and spend the rest on ammunition and training, you will be able to out shoot the guys with the $ 3000.00 guns!
The wetter the better👍

Cue up all the kimber haters....
They can hate all they want, made in the USA. Solid gun.
Tremendous shooting technique. But I cringe watching SA pistols put down, loaded, in battery, no safety, waved all about.
Safety's were actually engaged.
Oh mercy 🙄🤣
Oh boy, one of those……
Kimber is crap. It has issues. Colt works all day long.
Well that’s an oversimplification that isn’t really accurate.

When was less recoil ever a con?
you soundd like a glock fanboy. I challenge you to a dual. Your pick of any glock you want and ill use my Kimber KPE.
Cus it's heavier and in 9mm gun will have alot more less recoil then a g19 brotha it's all people have there choices oh well I luv glocks too
