After that, medusa appears and stick war 2 starts and the history repeats itself somehow in a different way and there you go medusa is dead but the rest of chaos is still alive including M-Kai. Then you see Kai becomes the new leader and successor of medusa. SO THEY ARE BOTH THE LEADERS OF CHAOS
