One of the things to also be wart off is the package hanger on top of the box, the left one(bootleg) the hook points to the right, the legit one on the right has the hook line point to the left side. That and the hololive sticker are 2 key things to spot for the bootlegs.

Calling it a "China KO or bootleg" is pointless, because the real one is made in China as well lol
If it's not made in the official NECA factory then it is a bootleg. A lot of things are made in China by factories of these companies which make them still the original since it originated from the real factory. Bootlegs are poorly made, made of dubious materials and most of the times doesn't resemble the item it is trying to copy. It is not pointless if the original product is far superior.

@@devilhunterred Almost everything is made in china but the difference is that those factories there that are making legit products are only renting space and workers to make their wares. So the quality and standards are far above compared to ko's and bootlegs. There is a difference and you should just stick to knockoffs if you can't tell the difference.

I actually appreciate KOs for the bodies. I paint my figures anyways and I don't want to pay crazy prices for the originals.
I just did a unboxing on 2 Rambo Action Figures and both of those were great figures. They come in unbranded boxes and I think they are Neca First Blood KO.

I recently bought a bootleg figure of Kratos on Aliexpress thinking it was original, I swear I was deceived when I saw it inside the box, because at first glance I didn't see the paint on his skin well, plus the clothes have excellent details, just like the original that you show in the video, and also brings a replica of the sticker with the holographic symbols ._.
In general, for being a bootleg, I thought it was a very nice figure, although it is not original, it has excellent sculpting, its clothes have very good details, the ax and dagger also look decent and the shield is beautiful, although the ax has a rough texture and the shield does not even fit on the arm, it cannot be placed in any way.
What I did not like was the painting of his skin, it came with a strong smell of paint and even so it has too many holes with the original color of the mold, the arms and the head differ in color with the torso and the joints do not even have paint and its red mark has two different red colors one over the other.
Anyway, the clothes and the sculpting are excellent, the paint on his skin is horrible, I would like to repaint it but I don't know how to do it.
Yes I know that smell you are talking about. I sometimes get the ones where it is the smell of the plastic or glue that is real funky. I have one that I am releasing tomorrow, Neca Batman Vs Aliens Fake Vs Real. That one you can definitely see the difference in both of them. (Sorry for late reply)

Yes that is a Fake. The real one if you can find it Ive seen go at auction for around $50-$55 and Buy It Now sell for $80-100.

I also bought a fake one from temu but mine looks a lot better. So I'm glad for now. Might do a repaint of my own. But yeah that head it terrible
So question(s), where can I buy the real one from? And how do I know it’s the real one before I buy it? I have bought one recently and it’s a knockoff, although I’m not completely mad/upset on how it looks, I would like the version you have here (the real one obviously lol). So where would I buy the real one? Or better question, where did you buy YOUR real one from?
Its hard because I bought mine from Gamestop when it came out. Now since it is not sold in stores at the moment it'll be hard to find it less than $100-180 smh. Hard one to get and a lot of fakes out there.

I have the real one kept in the box but the real one has more sturdy joints and some parts on the Bootleg look smaller and the paint on the fake one is just bsd

Neca admits that they have a problem with Fake action figures. Like this one doesnt have the right stickers. Some of them they hit right on the head an they look amazing. This one isnt one though lol. Too many things and the price difference was big.
Where would one find this? And what is the standard price for it?
I found this awhile back the both the real and fake go for around $20-30 right now. I would suggest getting the real one

When I purchased the real one I got it from gamestop. The fake one I paid $20 from Ebay shipping from China.

What bothers me is people who got these neca fakes still insists that these are just overruns or QC rejects. They can't accept that these are deliberately massed produced bootlegs using substandard materials and paint. Imagine getting ripped off but in denial about it lol.

Why you act like "yeah you can see the real one is much better, much more details" i mean they dont try to make it better than the real. They only make something like it for less price and its very good. If you hate such firms from china that do that then lern to accept it. This is part of the gaming and figuee world it will never end.
I accept it, they make bootlegs of anything that makes money lol. The reason I do these videos are for the Collectors that really care. Ive paid $100 for a figure to find out its a fake that someone wouldn't pay $20 for. Its the people out there that sell the fakes as the real thing that get to me. But like you said its apart of the industry. If you are happy with the fake then great, you just got a good deal on the figure you wanted.
Making a bootleg cheaper version would be OK if they were branded as such. But no. They try to sell you Bootlegs with NECA name slapped on the box. And dont get me started on Amazon, Ebay, AliExpress. They post bootlegs with pictures of originals!!! You tryna protect these companies by "cheaper deal" argument. Thats funny cause they cost almost exactly the same. And if you live in Europe where its not as easy to get Neca from a physical place (in some countries inpossible), amazon etc. are your only options.
I got my kratos in GameStop
Man they had him for cheap and no one really wanted him. Now that figure is worth a pretty penny.
