OMG, I love those episode so much. It's practically one of my all time favorites out of all the others so far. GOD! I really do hope we'll see more of Ariel and Eric in season 6. And since they're doing a somewhat untold story of Cinderella, I believe it seems fair that there should be an episode about Ariel's story too. Perhaps about who she was before meeting Snow White, or rescuing Eric.
I get they weren’t trying to be historically accurate, I mean its a fairy tale land.. but the modern looking dresses look kinda awkward with the medieval/renaissance background 😂😂
Agree, I feel like they should've kept the fabric the same, but made the dresses historical like 1600s-1800s, the costumes are beautiful but they also kinda normal/prom-ish, like you'd get them at H&M or something. Also, those historically innacurate dresses with those tiny bows in the back of them are so awkward, the short skirts clashes with Prince Eric's outfit 😭😭

As beautiful as it was they did with the encounter, it felt a bit surreal. She saved him 1 year ago, they meet 1 year later and love at first sight and then they don't see each other for 29 yrs and yet they're still in love?
That wasn’t true. After the first curse (which he was part of and cursed by) was broken, he remembers and recognized Ariel and reunites with her when Belle helped Ariel reunite with him. Right before the cast on the ship returned and where Ariel reunites with Snow. That proves he never forgot her.
@@NickyHelp Well aware. It must have taken at least a few years before the curse though, and even if he remembered her after the curse was broken, it took a year and a half before they reunited. Who knows if those feelings would have still been there after such a long time apart

Sorry they missed the mark with this Eric. I always pictured Eric as someone with dark/black hair and more sharp, model features.
Halle Berry is a crap choice, Ariana Grande would’ve better or casting choice or an actual redhead not black washing an iconic established character for the sake of profit or woke brownie points

Honestly, OUAT did way better at casting Ariel and Eric than what Disney did in botchering their LA remake of The Little Mermaid.

Belle and ariel had such a perfect story in ouat. There was nothing wrong with it. And aurora basically never got a proper story.
