Not worth to paint a car for £3k when its forth £4k

This might be the car of his dreams though.
It's not worth buying a brand new car because you lose money on it after 12 months, but people do it all the time.
You can't even say well he could have bought a newer one with better paint, because the paint from the factory is not brilliant. What he's got now is an fn2 with awesome paint that will last 20 years or more because it's been applied properly. And in another ten years if he gets bored of it he can sell of 20k anyway as they're sure to have risen in value. Just my 2 pence.
@@marcogarofalo6343 tbh ignore what I said. People have different motivations in life and if it makes you happy and you see value init then it’s worth it. I just mean from an economical POV it wasn’t worth it. If it brings you joy and makes you smile when you’re driving then it is worth it. Sorry I sounded narrow minded.
