Poland is really one of the underrated harbors of Metal alongside with Greece.
Sadly Roman Kostrzewski is now in Hell and newest LP of original Kat sucks if anyone wants listen to old good Kat from Roman Kostrzewski Era should listen to Kat & Roman Kostrzewski Band and their LP Popiór why ? Simple Without Looking Back is awful
You also have some good stuff in Greece in death metal like Rotting Christ.

KAT is awesome, critically underated band. Only heard of them because of Behemoth
They are underrated and unknown for non-poles because their fanbase is mostly from 80s so they couldnt travel with their music to the west and also Kostrzewski was not good in English so they decided to continue writing lyrics in polish language. Check out "Wyrocznia", "Niewinność", "Diabelski Dom" or "Płaszcz skrytobójcy".
Kat is polish version of metallica
KAT sounds very unique in the metal world, especially live;) My favourite songs of them are Wyrocznia (in English version - Oracle) and Devil's House (Part III). This band, alongside with Turbo and Acid Drinkers, are forerunners of Polish Metal.

KAT was my favourite band when I was a teenager. Great band. I'm not that much into metal, but them I just love
At first I thought this was going to be a reaction to The Amazing Kat. Awesome as she is, I’m glad that this is my first time hearing this band and I’m instantly in love. Behemoth is still my favorite polish metal band (top 3 favorite bands) but these guys are great. Thank you for the reaction and the “introduction” to this band.

Thank you for reacting T! I had a feeling that you would like this one! I accidently discovered KAT when I fell into a Metal Rabbit Hole listening session on TH-cam. I totally agree with what you said. This song is like a conglomerate of different bands together. Almost like a Frankenstein's Monster of a song that has been assembled by different parts of metal bands! :D

Hi, the Legend of Polish metal, Roman Kostrzewski, the lead vocalist of KAT & Roman Kostrzewski has passed away Feb 10th. His legendary song, Łza Dla Cieniów Minionych, was played today at his funeral. You need to check that song out.

The band is described as a precursor of Polish heavy and thrash metal. KAT, Turbo and TSA belonged to the so-called "The Great Trinity of Polish Metal". The texts arose from the fascination with magic and the occult (Oddech (Breath...) and then again on Róże miłości (Roses of Love)...), through Roman Kostrzewski's characteristic references to Miciński, elements of Nietzsche's philosophy (mainly Bastard) and mockery of the Catholic Church (Szydercze Zwierciadło). Mind Cannibals brought songs in a slightly different convention: the issues of the lyrics were based around contemporary media and manipulation of people, but metaphysical motifs were still present. In the 1980s, the band was often accused of promoting Satanism.
At Roman's funeral, they played and sang the cult song Kat, A tear for past shadows...
That is some evil sounding shit right there, i thought German metal was hard!

One of the Icon of Poland, my favourite album is BASTARD - one of the most unique in te metal world ever 4 me. Nowadays we heard that Roman (vocal and heart of KAT) is fighting with cancer so let support Roman even with just a thought in his struggle please! PS every of KAT's album has sth to interesting offer (till Roman was a part of it)

this is great music great album , but you know this is old 80/90s record and mastering is not perfect and this reason of not perfect sound. kat is more good albums but any album is litle diferent music . someone like more brutal technical like "Bastard" someone like more groove trash like " roze milosci" , first album '666" is more venom black metal but sound is masacre
