Great review! You hit the nail on the head in terms of adaptability, that's something we really aimed for. If you combine the different sizes there are quite a few configurations you can come up with. We designed these for ourselves, being game collectors, and we're very happy to hear that you like them.
Very easy to see where these are made by collectors. I wanted to even talk more about the side connector and how much of a difference that can make vs jus placing two flat risers together. So many issues, dropped items, frustrations are solved just with that connector. but overall The legs being close together was the biggest win. even if a figure is a little heavier it wont bow. Really nice!
That was a super awesome bonus. That perfect fit is going to mean a lot of possible displays I am stoked to live with these for a while and try even more things.
My ears always begin burning when you start showing off a display option that includes showing off some sweet Amiibo. I like that shot with the Amiibo up front and handhelds in the back--that looks good.
You know, for some people like my gf, the peeling of the stickers from the packaging is a bonus feature. Scratches that oddly satisfying itch. I actually save packages for her just for that reason if you can believe it...
very true! Its a wierd one though. you need to pull real slow and I like going back and forth as i pull to get the peel up. much more "on there" than say a screen protector or something. tons of peels tho!
Wow, way too much assembly required for me. I'm sure some will appreciate the look. They're a little too busy looking for me though. I prefer plain old rectangular acrylic risers that are virtually invisible, and with the taller ones I can stick items underneath them with no feet in the way. It's always cool to have many options though. Great video!
Zaat! Lool its funny , I think u post to yt so ive ended up catching your gi stuff. But more time was tge issue mixed woth watching the little one. I think soon things will open up again so I can go chill on twitch. That will be excellent
I always end up looking at it in the currency I see more than anything, Gaames! So for half of a modern game (for the biggest possible option) you can display quite a few things for a game plus a bit more you can make a bonkers massive display thats bigger than a billy bookcase is wide. I still need to experiment more with these too the skys the limit when it comes to their uses!
Ok, so I am not sure if mine is just defective, but my risers don't stay assembled? Should I use some glue to hold them together, or do you recommend I exchange them?
Glue would solve the issue especially if you need to move it a lot. I bought one recently thats more loose. But it does stay assembled in place, if i move it or pick it up the peices slip out. Quick fix is glue but I will say if you contact them and tell them your issue I have had a great experience with their customer service. Its likely equiptment was slightly off and they do and should lean towards it being more lose than tight , if its too tight the acrylic cracks. Just a couple guys run Rose Colored gaming so mistakes can halpen for sure. Id do both a tiny bit of glue because it will show wherever the glue is and contact them. Very sorry to hear though please keep me informed !
I got two long regulars and two long xl, and I had to crazy glue them together. I’m still happy with the item. I also got the zelda joy con stand and I had to use crazy glue on the joy con stand part.
Hey man! Long time! Still loving your channel. Quick question. I’m trying to find a display for in box amiibo. Would you still recommend these? Won’t these be too short to properly display the amiibo? Like from the video I saw you added some to the top layer. But I’m interested in something that could do maybe a too and bottom layer that shows the full in box amiibo
Not enough height for that to work but thats a very interesting idea. a tiered cib amiibo display sounds incredible. Let me experiment a bit with what I have to see if maybe some of these risers would work properly
Lol you may be at a point where you are happy with your collection displaywise. These are awesome for people who crowd their shelves with figures. Also cheap which is great
@@DiskCart I'm always revamping/rearranging how I display my collection, so I'm not sure if that actually makes me happy with it lol. As for cheapness though, I would reserve that for something like those Ultra Pro 2-piece stands that are like 5 for $2. Rose Colored Gaming definitely makes a luxury-equivalent product, but it's also priced accordingly.
@@MrNicholas7 with most of their items being less than 20 dollars and the bigger brands items being 100+ . Real displays get bonkers expensive. I don't put them anywhere near luxury. Sort of premiumish but not quite there. Those card standa are great thou excellent all around displays. And very very cheap! Id call everything luxury next to something that if i skipped lunch I could buy 30 of lol. But yeah these solve the childish too many figures crowding a shelf problem for people I think thats worth 1/3 of a modern video game.

Thank You very much! that fuels the videos!
I’m incredibly happy I subscribed back in March while looking for ideas to organize my room. I genuinely hope you grow more, you deserve it.
Thank you paul! Means a bunch to me!
"Put it on a toilet paper roll", Funny lol.
These stands look good, even better that they fit billy bookcases as well.
Good vid👍

Oh yeah well you look cool too
Very helpful thank you! I love RCG products but really needed to see how these risers looked/worked! Appreciate it! xo

@@DiskCart ah I see. Makes sense. Loving your videos and getting some inspiration for my always a work in progress game room.
Awesome review, thanks for the info and examples. Been wondering about snagging some of these for a while now
These RIsers are excellent. Adaptability is the biggest thing. just be careful putting it together and you are set!

@@DiskCart I understand, my man. Do what you gotta do. Just wanted to show some love and respect!
I really like these stands, I could definitely use them to help display my handhelds better. Not sure how I feel about the price but it seems fair.

Hello DiskCart. Can we talk about dust management? How are you doing this?
Cleaning will always be required. But I slow that down a lot by keeping a very good air cleaning system in the room and keeping my shoes at the door.

Are there any that fit good in Kallax?
I think Rose Colored Gaming makes nice products, but personally, I would much rather spend the money on adding items into my collection.
