Great idea for girls camp. I know it was alot of prep for you and your hubby. A couple years ago I taught pour painting at my DILs stake camp. So fun but a ton of work. I can't imagine the prep for this.😜 Blessings Blessings for all of your service. 💚
These are great! I watched this video because I had a similar inspiration and wanted to see how others did it before I finalized the design and measurements. Our church is having a kids camp in August and I am leading a craft one of the days. Our "half pocket" will have a heart tucked into it and the large pocket will hold the scripture Psalm 119:11 "Your word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." I can't wait to share pics of the results we get!

Love! Love! Love! I'm going to try this with my granddaughters. I was wondering how to make the holes without using an awl (too dangerous for them), so the hole punch idea is very helpful. Thanks. Also, like the idea of having everything pre-cut and the bag pre-glued. Awesomeness!
I love this idea! I'm inspired to make monthly junk journals out of small paper bags and then bind a year's worth together (somehow -- not sure how to do that yet).

I make blank lunch bag journals for my nieces classroom. 2 lunch bags, writing paper and drawing paper. I sew the spine. These are 2nd graders.
